Does the Summer heat and humidity melt your makeup? It sends mine dripping down my face, my eyes turn into racoon eyes, and my foundation, blush, and lipstick drips all over my face, and disperses so that I look like a crazy,colorful mess. What do you do? In the Spring I purchased Cover FX Illuminating Setting Spray ($31) on one of my discovery trips to Sephora. I pretty much forgot all about it, but when the heatwave hit last week, I realized I needed something to keep my makeup from dismantling, and luckily I remembered having purchased the Cover FX setting spray.
Not only did the setting spray set my makeup and prevent it from moving, it also imparted an instant, natural-looking all-over illumination that was perfect for day or night because it was not glittery. 
It does not contain any alcohol, so there was no stinging like some of the setting sprays that have alcohol in their ingredients. It is also Vegan.
It has an ultra-fine mist that creates an even luminous finish.
It dries down quickly, and I love the nice, dewy finish it reveals. It brightened my makeup.
I love that it dried down to a great light – illuminating glowing finish. I think it is a perfect highlighter for both the face and body. The more you mist, the more you’ll glow! And you will have the serious staying power you need come the next heatwave! And the next, and the next because summer just arrived a week ago! Do you use a setting spray for certain occasions? I usually only use a setting spray if I have something special to do, when I want my makeup to be perfect all day. or all night, or both! Because this one by Cover FX sets your makeup and gives you a dewy, illuminating glow, I definitely will continue to use it more frequently!
