Everyone needs is a really good concealer. The reason is, non of us are perfect. Therefore, a good concealer can smooth out, conceal, and correct all the things you don’t want to see. In other words, concealers can temporarily erase the look of all of your imperfections. As a result, concealers are your best friend. Magically, concealers hide the dark circles under your eyes. Also, they cover the redness around your nose. Also, they can even out your lines and wrinkles. Above all, your concealer “conceals” red spots, pimples, and uneven pigmentation. Recently, I’ve tried the new Pat McGrath Sublime Perfection Concealer. Also, I had a go at the new Hourglass Vanish Airbrush Concealer. In addition, the Newest concealer on the block, the Armani Luminous Silk Glow Concealer, is the one that glows. I love any product that glows. Therefore, Armani had me at the word glow!
You can find the New Armani Luminous Silk Glow Concealer (12 ml/ 0.40 fl. oz.) at Sephora and on the Armani Website. Also, the Armani Luminous Silk Glow Concealer Costs $38.
The Packaging For The Armani Luminous Silk Glow Concealer
First, the outer box of the Luminous Silk Glow Concealer is the sleek, shiny, black box, with silver writing. Furthermore, the amount of product, (12ml / 0.40 fl. oz) is almost, if not, more than half of the usual 6 or 7 ml. of most concealers. For example, the Armani Power Fabric Concealer costs $34. However, it has 0.2 oz/ 6ml. Pat McGrath’s new concealer costs $32, and is 0.16 oz / 4.7 ml. Last, the Hourglass Concealer costs $34, and is 0.2 oz / 6ml.
Furthermore, the plastic bottle is frosted, and it has a shiny black lid. The lid has the double G logo on one side. Once you unscrew the lid, it then becomes the handle to the doe-footed applicator. Moreover, the applicator is a precision applicator that comes to a point. Although, the doe foot is asymmetrical. One side is thicker than the other side. The thicker side curves outwards, from the tip, to the bottom of the doe foot.
On the other side of the point, the applicator stays straight to the bottom of the doe foot. The thicker, rounded out side of the applicator allows for a generous application. Use the tip of the foot to conceal. In fact, the tip is designed for precision. Then, use the flat edge to highlight large areas. The half moon bulge makes the flat side thicker.
As a result, you get more area to do large areas of your face. Therefore, the applicator is considered a multi-purpose applicator.
The Armani Luminous Silk Glow Concealer Formula
To begin with, the concealer is made using micro-fil technology. As a result, the formula is bendable. Even more, the concealer won’t crease. In addition, the formula includes glycerin, caffeine, and Vitamin E. Therefore, it provides 24 hour hydration. Yet, would you leave your makeup on for 24 hours? I’m happy that it hydrates the skin. Period. Additionally, the concealer diminishes the look of dark circles. Moreover, it reduces under eye puffiness.
The formula is creamy. It gives you medium coverage. Although, you can build the formula, layering the concealer, to get the coverage you want.
Finally, the formula includes soft-focus pearls and naturally derived emollients. As a result, the concealer will diffuse fine lines. Also, it will give you smooth, even coverage. Above all, it gives you that lit from within look.
The Armani Luminous Silk Glow Concealer Shades
First of all, the Armani Luminous Silk Glow Concealer comes in 20 shades. Furthermore, the shades range from the fairest of the fair, to the deepest deep shades. Even more, the formula comes in warm, cool, and neutral undertones. Finally, the concealer has a natural, radiant finish.
I purchased the shade 5.5, a medium shade with neutral undertones.
Funny, I am a 5 in the Armani Luminous Silk Foundation. Although, the 5.5 shade was lighter than the foundation. Yet, it turned out to be a good shade for me.
My Final Thoughts On The Armani Luminous Silk Glow Concealer…..
I am in love with this Luminous Silk Glow Concealer. First, it did an amazing job covering the darkness under my eyes. Also, it didn’t crease. Even more, it didn’t dry out or flake. Additionally, the creamy texture evened out any bumpy imperfections. This concealer is probably the best concealer if you have dry skin. Even if you don’t have dry skin, in general, a lot of people are dry under their eyes. So, under my eyes, stayed hydrated all day. If you like a glow, this is the concealer for you. I love the look of a glow under my eyes. And, if you don’t feel like wearing foundation, then you can use this to cover all your imperfections, and even out your complexion.
One thing you shouldn’t do is set the concealer with setting powder. First, if you do powder after your concealer, you are aren’t going to like this concealer. First, the powder will dry out the area . And, worse, it will take the radiance away. So, if you love a smooth, matte look, do not go with this Glow Concealer. Also, setting powder will sit in your fine lines and wrinkles. Don’t set this formula. It will last a long time, look radiant, give you a glow, and keep your skin hydrated! I can’t get over how smooth it still is under my eyes. It’s miraculous. I love it! And, I highly recommend it.
PS
Let me know what concealers you like. If you love using setting powder to set your concealer, try the new Pat McGrath Sublime Concealer. It is a system, and you can buy the setting powder that goes with it. I prefer a luminous look, without powder. This one is perfect if you have dry skin, and if you like radiance!
