Oh Hello Week! Let’s Do This!
Or in Prince’s Famous Words “just another manic Monday!”
Vogue Magazine has called British Makeup Artist Pat McGrath ” the most influential makeup artist in the world.” Until recently, McGrath”s most creative makeup has been homemade – made specifically for the catwalks, for designers such as Prada, Miu Miu, Louis Vuitton, Valentino, Balenciaga, Stella McCartney, Dolce and Gabanna,Versace, Lanvin…and the list goes on and on. Another fun fact, McGrath works her makeup application mostly with her fingers! Also, she personally designed Giorgio Armani’s makeup line.
I spent a good part of the day last Tuesday, April 26th 2016, attempting to get online to the Pat McGrath Makeup Lab website to purchase her newest release, Skin Fetish 003. Skin Fetish 003 from the Pat McGrath Labs is a limited edition that sells for $72. There were only 700 of each color to go around. I couldn’t get onto the site for the first three hours. I was getting desperate because I had looked forward to purchasing Skin Fetish 003 as I, for months prior, had become familiar with this fabulous product. Eventually I was told to come back in the late afternoon because so many enthusiastic fans were doing the exact same thing as I was, trying to be among the 700 lucky ones to get this amazing product. I was frustrated and heartbroken to learn that her website had crashed, it totally broke down . It needed to be fixed. Finally I tried later in the afternoon and was lucky to not only get onto the site, but I was able to purchase both Skin Fetish 003 Nude, and Skin Fetish 003 Gold. Who cares that I was behaving like a makeup junkie all day! Since I was successful I feel it was worth all the aggravation.
What is Skin Fetish 003? First, it was what created the lit from within glow for the Valentino Fashion Show in Paris during Fashion Week. Vogue refers to it as “irridescent powder.” It left the model’s skin having no imperfections. It created soft highlights at the cheeks, brows, and the Cupid’s Bow of the lips. It creates the look of purity and refinement, and it works on all skin types.
The boxes arrived on Friday, April 29, 2016! I was so surprised that I received them in a matter of days. Inside I found sealed plastic pouches that were filled with sequins. The Gold choice had gold sequins, and the Nude choice had silver sequins.
The bags were so gorgeous filled with the sequins, I hated to open them!
When I did open them, each bag had an 003 pigment, a shiny highlighter stick that is a duo, a balm on one side, and a highlighter color on the other, and they each contained a 003 skin fetish brush.
Pat McGrath is a superstar in the world of fashion and makeup. She is the ultimate Makeup Artist. With her Skin Fetish 003 McGrath created the “secret” perfect skin for Valentino’s models at Fashion Week. She takes glowing skin to a whole new level, for models, and now she makes it available to all of us!
Aren’t We Lucky? If you can’t find Skin Fetish 003 by Pat McGrath at her Labs website, Sephora is supposed to launch the highlighters on May 10, 2016 – but hurry because they are highly desired by fanatics like myself, and will surely be a quick sell-out! Good Luck!
You’re Awesome!
We love it when you come for a visit!
xoxo
