Since my blog is about things that make women feel better, I have found something that may help you get through the winter feeling less sickness, more energetic and not being so depressed. Therefore, Every house should own an Essential Oil Diffuser.
The History of The Essential Oil Diffuser
You’d be incorrect to think diffusing essential oils is a “new wave” idea. Cultures from around the world have been using, and diffusing Essential Oils for centuries. In ancient times, their uses were varied between cultures from religious reasons to healing the sick. Eventually, the knowledge of essential oils spread around the world.
Interestingly, the cave paintings in France carbon-date back to 18,000 B.C.E. These cave paintings show everyday life events. Also, the painting portray the use of medicinal plants in everyday life. Moreover, the legendary Yellow Emperor of China (2697-2597 BCE) wrote “The Yellow Emporer’s Book of Internal Medicine.” Significantly, Eastern Medicine still considers the book useful today. In the fourteenth century, Frankincense and pine oil burned on the streets to get rid of the Bubonic plague’s evil spirits. Although, the real result was less deaths in that area.
Meanwhile, in 1653, Nicholas Culpeper wrote “The Complete Herbal,” describing certain conditions and their remedies. In fact, the book is still appropriate today. The method for distilling essential oils was founded in Persia from 980-1037 AD. Similarly this ancient method of distilling essential oils is still used today.
How The Essential Oil Diffuser Works
Most important, it is essential that you use the ideal essential oil. the essential oil diffuser is the most popular method for scattering essential oils in the air. When you place a few drops of an essential oil into a diffuser, the aroma and the oil disperses into the air. Therefore, essential oil diffusers will enance your environment. They work by permeating the little particles of oil and distributing both oil particles and fragrance through the air.
The Ideal Essential Oil
Above all, it is imperative that you use the “ideal essential oil” in your diffuser. The ideal oil is a bottle of potent liquid that has been distilled from the flower, root, leaf, or rind of an aromatic plant.
Make certain you choose the best essential oil! Otherwise, you may end up with a synthetic fragrance, or a cheap copy of an essential oil. A watered down, fake oil will defeat the purpose of diffusing essential oil for health and wellness benefits.
Therefore:
First, make sure the essential oil comes in a glass bottle. Plastic bottles are no good because the oil will break down when it is in contact with plastic. Furthermore, the glass needs to be either Amber or Dark Blue to keep the oil from ultra violet degradation. Next, if you purchase your essential oil in a store, make sure the oil is stored in a cool area. Heat can cause changes in the composition of the oil.
Second, the name of the oil needs to have two parts. It needs to have the common name and the Latin name. If it doesn’t have both names, it is a non essential oil . A non essential oil will have have real perfume in it to give it the scent.
Third, if it is a cheap price, it is probably not a high quality oil. The reason is because it takes an abundance of plants to produce one pound of essential oil. To illustrate, Lavender Oil uses 150 pounds of lavender flowers for one pound of oil. Also, Peppermint Oil uses 250 pounds of peppermint leaves to make one pound of peppermint oil.
Fourth, look for a label that says Wild Crafted, or that has the USDA seal. You don’t want your oil to contain pesticides. Furthermore, look for a 100% pure label to know your oil will be effective.
Fifth, your oil should have an orifice reducer plug to control the amount of drops that come from the bottle. This also prolongs the oil’s shelf life.
The Benefits of Having An Essential Oil Diffuser
The Essential Oil Diffuser has tremendous benefits for your health and wellness. It improves your health, increases your energy and it helps you sleep better. The oil goes from the bottle, into the diffuser, diffused into the air, breathed in by you, and ends up in your bloodstream.

Second, essential oils can boost your immune system. last, some diffusers double as humidifiers, which help keep your airways moist and healthy. Therefore, you are less susceptible to any microbe that does get into your body.
