Where were you in the 80’s? Were you wearing all of the trends ? One trend I really loved was wearing colored mascara. In fact, until the 80’s, black and brown were the” it” mascara shades. However, the 1980’s changed all that, and added cobalt blue mascara to the mix. I loved the trend because cobalt blue is my favorite color. What is more, we all know that ‘everything old becomes new again’. Therefore, its time to welcome back colored mascara in 2018! In fact, the beauty looks shown at fashion week were the inspiration for the trend. And, the colored mascara trend moves beyond cobalt blue mascara to include a full spectrum of shades. On the other hand, I purchased Christian Dior’s Dior Show 30. You would use the Dior Mascara as mascara to color add volume to your lashes.

To begin with, if you are afraid of too much “in your face” color, ease into colored mascara for a more subtle look. First, you can layer colors over black mascara. In this way, you’ll end up with more of a subtle tint. The Lancome Top Coat is perfect for this. Another way to use the top coat is , once your lashes dry from your bottom coat of black mascara, try coating the tips of your lashes with the top coat. In this way, you will have subtle color just on your tips. As a result you have added another dimension to your eyes.
When color mascara is worn well, it will enhance you eyes, and make them appear brighter and more alive. Try coating the top and bottom lashes for color that really pops. Another example, if you want to make a statement, command attention with hot pink in full-on color. On the other hand, you can add a hint of hot pin for a flutter of flirtation. Another way to war color is, apply a sheer eye shadow on you lids. Next, brush a matching color on the tips of your lashes. If you want your eyes to look luminous, use a bright blue colored mascara on your lashes.
