I was in Sephora last week, just moseying around when I spotted the Too Faced Metallic Sparkle Lipstick Display. Let alone, there were ten sparkling, metallic shades in the collection. What is more, these lipsticks are throwbacks from the 90’s.. Moreover, the collection commemorates the brand’s 20th anniversary. Did you know that the first product the Too Faced brand started with was 8 metallic lipsticks. As a result, for their 20th birthday, Two faced brought those 8 shades back. However, this time, they reformulated the original shades and gave them a 2018 spin. Furthermore, they changed the formula for the better! Finally, they added two new shades to the collection.
You can find the Two Faced Metallic Sparkle Lipsticks on the Official Two Faced Website, and at Sephora. The throwback lipsticks retail for $22 each.
Too Faced Metallic Sparkle Lipstick Packaging
To begin with, I’m in love with the packaging. Each box is the metallic sparkle shade as the lipstick inside. Also, the bullet is a big wow!
The bullets are the color of the lipstick inside. And, the actual bullets twinkle in three-dimensional sparkle! As a result,I was in love before I even got to see the actual lipsticks!
Too Faced Metallic Sparkle Lipstick Formula
Again, for their 20th Birthday, Two Faced re”imagined” the original shades from the 90s. First, the new throwbacks we gifted with a new formula. In contrast to the 1990 formulas, of the glitter, sparkle, and metallic lipsticks which felt dry and dried out your lips, the new formula is creamy and comfortable. Moreover,, the avocado oil in the ingredients, creates a much creamier, more comfortable wearing lipstick. m As a result, the throwbacks are moisturizing. In addition, they are easy to apply because they go on smoothly. And, you don’t feel any grit from the glitter! Finally, the lipsticks have a ton of pigment, and sparkle payoff. As a resulyt, they have a multi-reflective, glittery finish.

And, Too Too Hot is an iridescent garnet shade with a shifting glitter finish.
Too Faced Metallic Sparkle Lipstick Last But Not Least……
Above all, I love that these Metallic Sparkle Lipsticks are fun and playful. In the 90’s when glittery metallic lipsticks were popular, they felt gritty and were very drying on your lips. As a result, you were miserable because you were in agony because your lips felt so dry. Also, the 90’s lipsticks stayed on like glue. Sometimes you wished they wouldn’t stay on so long because you wanted some relief for your lips. So, the new, 2018 remake might not be as long-wearing, but at least your lips won’t feel dry! You just can’t have it both ways. Maybe in another 20 years, but not right now!
Also, what do you think of when you see sparkle shades, metallics and glittery colors? I think of fall nights, pumpkin spice everything, and getting ready for the holidays. And, nothing is better than a great, shiny metallic sparkle lipstick during the holidays! What do you think? Are you willing to give up comfort for long wearing products? Not me! I’d love to hear what you think about the throwback lipsticks in the comment section below. I love hearing from you ! So please drop in (down below in the comment section) to say hi!
