Home stuffWhatever

You know those Chicken Cutlets we put inside our bras to enhance our boobs?  How would you like to use it to apply makeup to your face?  Sounds strange, right?Silicone-makeup-sponge-breast-implant  Well, so the story goes, an Indie brand from Hong Kong, Molly Cosmetics, discovered that you can take a silicone chicken cutlet, disguise it as a makeup sponge, put it on instagram, and instantly, it goes viral , takes off, and everyone around the world wants one, or two!silicone-makeup-sponge-for-foundation-and-cream-face-makeup  And the silicone sponge becomes referred to as the New Beauty Blender, and the stores sell out and can’t even keep it them stock, so people want them so badly , can’t get them, and start taking the chicken cutlets out of their bras, squirting foundation on them, and swirling and patting the formula’d up chicken cutlets,  smearing  foundation all over their faces!  The end!

What is the Silicone Sponge?  It is a see-through, patty-like tool that has a non-porous (smooth) soft silicone surface made out of (high quality) silicone and encapsulated in a super-flexible material called thermoplastic polyurethane).  It is safe and germ-free, unlike the traditional sponge, which is a breeding ground for bacteria and germs.

It is the perfect sponge, anti-sponge, to use when applying liquid or cream foundation, because the application it creates is a flawless airbrushed look.  It can also be used for applying concealer, highlighters, blush, Air Cushions, and BB Creams and CC Creams.silicone-sponge-how-to-clean-how-to-use

Cleanup is a breeze with the Silicone Sponge because you just need to rinse it off with some soap and water.  Makeup washes right off!  The easiest cleanup ever!  You don’t even need to dry it!

You Need To Know that you will NEVER again waste makeup!  You won’t lose half a bottle of foundation to your sponge drinking it up! It will not soak up your liquids or creams because of it’s smooth texture.  You also do not need the amount of product you would normally use if you were using a sponge.  WARNING if you use too much product, the amount you would have normally used, the makeup will just sit on top of your skin!silicone-sponge-makeup-applicator-diaphanous-sponge-transparent-silicone-puff  You only need to put 1/3- 1/2 the amount of product on your sponge, instead of the amount you would ordinarily use.  If you do this, you will love the results!

To distribute (spread it around) your product, go around, or use a back and forth motion.   It will glide across your face, and you will get a unique coverage.  It will appear to be sheer when you smear it around.  When you pat it in, you will get more coverage. To blend the product, tap, tap, tap it into the skin.  You can stipple the sponge with product into the harder to tackle crevices, like the ones around your nose.dav When I first used the sponge, I put way too much foundation on, and it smeared streaks across my face.  Then I realized, I put way too much foundation on the silicone sponge.  When I put half the amount of product on, it looked like I was airbrushed!  I was really surprised!  It really did work, does a great job, and  my cream blush never looked more radiant, and my contour blended in amazingly well, as did the highlight shade.  I really like the silicone sponge, and if you find they are all sold out, just use one of your chicken cutlets!
