The Shades in the Medium to Warm Palette (follow this for the Fair-Medium Palette too)
Last, but not least, and very important, The Palette comes in two colors.
First, is (No.1), Fair to Medium Skin tone Palette. Too light for me, I am still going to the beach, and holding onto my tan! So, I went with the second color, (No.2) Medium to Warm.
On the top left, of both colorways, is the lightest shade.
In the Medium-Warm Palette, the lightest shade has a cool, yellow undertone. Apply the light shades from both palettes to highlight and brighten your skin. Apply the lightest shade in a V-shape in the center of your forehead, on the high cheekbones, along the bridge of your nose, in the center of your chin, on your Cupid’s bow, and on theinner corners of your eyes. Also, you can highlight your brow bones with the lightest shade.
On the top right, of both colorways, is a fair, neutral tone.
Use this neutral shade all over to even out your skin. First, brush this shade on your t-zone. This includes your forehead, nose and chin. Then, starting in the center, blend outwards to cover your face.
On the bottom left, of both colorways, is a medium tone shade.
First, the medium tone shade in the medium-warm palette, a medium apricot tone, is used to correct pigmentation and discoloration. Also, you can mix this shade with the top right fair neutral tone, to create a shade that may be a better match for your skin tone. Then, you can use the mix to cover your face.
On the bottom right, of both colorways, is the darkest shade.
Also, the Medium- Warm Palette deepest shade , a deep warm tone, provides warmth and sets your makeup in place. Apply the dark shade along your hairline, underneath your jaw, and on your lower cheeks. Even more, apply on the sides of your nose and along your lower jaw line to create natural shadows.
Also, if you want to control your coverage and color payoff, Terry suggests that you change up your brushes. For example, Terry uses a large, fluffy brush for a light, more natural-looking application. On the other hand, she uses a firm, dense brush for building dimension and color payoff.
You can find the by Terry Hyaluronic Hydra-Powder Palette-Makeup That Cares! at Selfridges and on the by Terry Website. Also, the Hyaluronic Hydra-Powder (4x (0.09 0z./ 2.5g)costs $60.
I am loving that this is not your any old, ordinary powder palette. First, it has 4 powders, each does a different task. Although, don’t be shy, mix the powders, and use them to compliment your own skin! It is a true multi-taker, multi-purpose palette. You’ve got to feel how soft and silky these powders feel. I have very dry skin. This is the perfect powder for everyone, but it is a sure thing if your skin is dry! You’ll love the way it feels on your skin. And, it won’t go into fine lines and wrinkles!
