By Terry Brightening CC Beach Bomb Palette

The new BY Terry Spring/Summer Palette is here!  First, the new Brightening CC Beach Bomb Palette is just like the CC  Sunny Flash Palette from last year’s By Terry Spring/Summer Collection.  However, there are differences between the two palettes. One, last year’s Sunny Flash Palette has become part of the By Terry Permanent Collection. On the other hand, the limited edition, Beach Bomb Palette, is only here until it sells out.  Two, the packaging is the same design in both palettes.  Although, the colors of the design. are different. Also, the Sunny Flash Palette is in a gold metallic box, and the Beach Bomb is in a rose gold metallic box. Furthermore, the colors in each palette are different. Otherwise, both palettes are illuminating, color-correcting, powder, palettes!  In addition, both palettes have four shades.  Finally, both palettes have the same formula.  Both have “all in one” formulas.  As a result, both palettes include a brightening powder, color corrector, and highlighter.  Also, they both included a blush and a bronzer. Last, both palettes smell like roses.

You can find the By Terry Beach Bomb Palette, as Well as the By Terry Sunny Flash Palette, at Look Fantastic, SkinStore, Space N.K., and on the By Terry Beauty Website.  In addition, the By Terry Brightening CC Palette in Beach Bomb (4×2.3g, 0.8 oz.) costs $56.

The compacts are the same color, and design as those of their outer boxes.  Also, the plastic compacts have an easy lift up to open, and push down until you hear a click closure.

The Formula For The By Terry Brightening CC Beach Bomb Palette

INGREDIENTS FOR THE BEACH BOMB PALETTE
THE BEACH BOMB PALETTE INGREDIENTS

To begin with, the finely milled powders are smooth and silky.  As a result, they blend easily.  In fact, they almost melt into your face!  The result is a natural glow with a hint of color.  Also, the powders give your face a blurring effect.

THE SUN FLASH PALETTE INGREDIENTS

Additionally, color-correcting pigments give your face a flawless finish.  Additionally, the formula uses an Optical Glow Technology that includes microspheres and color-correcting pigments that give your skin a flawless finish.  Then, Light-reflecting prisms lift your complexion.  Furthermore, the formula includes Rose Hip Oil to hydrate and regenerate the skin without drying it out.  The blush is pigmented more so than the other shades.  Finally, the powders have a rose scent.  I think it is really strong when you first open the lid.  However, it either dissipates quickly, or maybe you just get used to it.

The Shades of the By Terry Brightening CC Beach Bomb Palette Versus The By Terry Brightening Sun Flash Palette

Beach Bomb Palette Shades

SWATCHES OF THE BEACH BOMB PALETTE
Bright Sands

First, Bright Sands, a light, soft gold shade, has an illuminating finish.  To begin with, wear Bright Sands as a highlighter on the high points of your face.  As a result, you will have a natural-looking , luminous glow.  So, wear Bright Sands on your upper cheekbones, down the center of your nose, on your brow bones, and on your Cupid’s bow.

Peach Perfect

Second, Peach Perfect, a soft, light peach shade, has miniscule flecks of twinkling silver,  and a radiant finish.  To start, I would wear Peach Perfect as an eyeshadow.  Or you can wear this shade as a blush.

Pink Sunset

Third, Pink Sunset, a vivid pink shade has a subtle glowing finish.  Pink Sunset works really well as a blush, for a subtle rosy glow.  Also, you can wear this vivid pink shade as an eyeshadow.

Golden Bronze

Fourth, Golden Bronze, a warm bronze shade, has an illuminating finish.  First, this warm bronze shade adds warmth to your skin.  You can wear this as a bronzer, on the places where the sun would hit your face.  Also, wear it on your cheeks for a bronzed look.  Further, wear it as an eyeshadow, or a crease shade.

EVEN MORE SWATCHES OF THE BEACH BOMB PALETTE

Sunny Flash Palette Shades

SWATCHES OF THE SUNNY FLASH PALETTE
No. 1 Champagne Blush

First, Champagne Blush, a champagne shade, has an illuminating. pearl finish.  Wear this illuminating champagne shade as a highlighter, on the high points of your face.

No. 2 Pink Petal

Second, Pink Petal, a natural tea-rose shade, with miniscule silver reflects, and a radiant finish.  First, this tea-rose shade will illuminate washed out,, ashy looking skin.  One reason is, it has pink undertones, which will help brighten the skin.  Therefore, wear it as a blush shade if your skin is fair, light or medium.  Although, if you are medium tan, dark or deep, wear this as a blush or an eyeshadow.

No. 3 Vibrant Rose Shade

Third, Vibrant Rose, a rich, just pinched rose shade, has a satin finish.  Wear this on the apples of your cheeks, for that just pinched look.  I love that this shade creates a dewy, fresh look.

No. 4 Desert Sparkle

Fourth, Desert Sparkle, a sandy bronze shade, with gold flecks, has a luminous pearl finish.  First, use this shade as a bronzer.  Therefore, brush Desert Sparkle in the spots where the sun hits your face.  Start on your cheek, and bring the bronzer up to your temples.  Also, take the bronzer across your nose to the other cheek.  Even more, dust your hairline, and jawline with the bronzer.

My Final Thoughts On The By Terry Brightening CC Beach Bomb and Sunny Flash…….

SWATCHES, THE FOUR ON THE LEFT ( 2 TOP 2 BOTTOM) ARE SUNNY FLASH, AND THE FOUR ON THE RIGHT ARE BEACH BOMB

To start with, both palettes compliment all skin tones.  Therefore, the shades in each palette are flexible.  You decide, depending how light or dark your skintone is, how you are going to use the shades in either palette.  Also, I love that the skincare infused shades will blur and radiate your skin.  I can’t recommend one palette over the other.  Although, if you like both, but can only get one, get the new Beach Bomb Palette because it is a limited edition.  As a result, you can always get the Sunny Flash Palette , which is permanent, at another time.  These palettes remind me of a palette I was madly in love with, the Becca X Chrissy Teigen Bronze Glow Palette. Unfortunately, that palette has been discontinued.  So, I am glad for these By Terry Brightening CC Palettes!

Have you tried either one of these Brightening Color Correcting By Terry Spring/Summer palettes?  If you did , could you leave me a note in the comments box below, and tell me your thoughts on the palettes?  If you haven’t tried them yet, which one calls out to you?  It was hard for me to choose, so I ended up with both!

  • As always with By Terry I like certain shades from both palettes 😀 I adore the peach blush and the bronzer in the Beach Bomb version, but the highlighter and the bright pink blush does not work on me at all – and I love the highlight and the pale pink in the Sunny Flash, but the rose blush and the bronzer in this palette is not so great on me. Wish it was possible to switch the pans in between them to get my “perfect” palette – do you know if this is possible without ruining them? 😀
