What happens to your face, when the weather is freezing cold? Especially, if it is windy outside! One thing for sure, my lips turn dry. Also, my lips become chapped. Then, my lips feel so uncomfortable, that I start to lick them. As a result, the licking only makes my lips drier, and more cracked. I’ve tried lots of products to help my lips. For example, the Bite Beauty Agave Lip mask, and Lip Balm helps. Now, there is a new lip mask from Tatcha, the Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask. Even more, it’s like a magic pinky-peach gel! Another thing, it is a night mask. However, you don’t have to use it at night, when you are sleeping. Actually, you can use it whenever you need some relief!
You can find the Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask at Sephora, on QVC, and on Tatcha’s Website. Furthermore, the Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask costs $28.
The Packaging For Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask
To begin with, the Kissu Lip Mask comes in a beautiful glass jar.
In fact, the packaging was what drew me to the product. First, it looked feminine, and eloquent. Therefore, it would look beautiful on any vanity or makeup table.
Also, the jar has a twist off, twist on lid. Last, the mask comes with a gold spoon applicator.
The problem is, there is no spot, on the jar, to put the applicator. Now, I lose things too easily, so this could be a problem for me.
I know, eventually, either one of my Great Danes will jump up, and chew it up, or my Iguana,Claire, will find it interesting, and do whatever iguanas do, to it.
The Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask Formula
First, the formula is a feather weight jelly. And, it does, indeed, hav e a beautiful, thick, jelly-like texture. Interestingly, for generations, Japanese women have used fresh fruit and botanical masks. In addition, they used crushed peach seeds, mixed with oils, to make masks. As a result, this was the inspiration for the Kissu Lip Mask. Therefore, the formula for the Kissu Lip Mask includes peach seed extract. Also, they mix the peach seed extract with squalene. These ingredients help repair damaged lips. Besides revitalizing your lips, the peach seed extract helps calm your irritated lips.
Also included, Three Rose Extract, protects your lips from dryness. Then, Japanese Camellia Il seals moisture into your lips. Additionally, it nourishes your lips with vitamins A, B, D and E, and Nourishing Omega 3, 6 and 9. Also interesting, this jelly is richer in oleic acid than olive oil. Finally, Tatcha’s signature ingredient, Hadasei 3, is the basis for all of Tatcha Beauty Products. It includes 3 Japanese superfoods: rice, green tea and algae.
One last important point, Tatcha uses Clean Ingredients in all their products.
How To Use Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask
To start, use the applicator, or your fingers, and apply a thick layer of Kissu Mask on your lips at bedtime. Then, leave it on all night. In the morning, you will discover that the mask has disappeared into your lips. The result , plump, soft lips. Still, a little bit really does go a long way. Therefore, the jar should last you a long time.
Also, you don’t need to limit the Kissu Lip Mask to nighttime wear. In fact, if your lips are really bothering you, then wear the mask during the day! The results are, your lips will look and feel replenished, plump, and soft. The chapped fine lines should disappear. Also, the formula seals moisture into your lips. In fact, your lips will start to feel hydrated, even when you are not wearing it.
Tatcha Kissu Lip Mask Last But Not Least……….
The only reason the mask disappointed me was, it didn’t smell or taste like peaches. Now, wouldn’t you think that Tatcha would figure out how to add a peach scent to the mask? Then, the mask would be perfect! Forget the taste of peaches, I’d lick my lips all day, and make them chapped again!
