Rachel Zoe Summer 2017 Box Of Style A Fashion Forward Masterpiece

Each box begins with the “Hero” item which is usually unveiled ahead of the box release.  This summer, 2017 , the hero item is the most perfect Kimono.  We knew it was coming!  We also knew we were going to get an amazing pair of sunglasses, because we received notification that we could choose our shade- either black or tortoise shell.  I surprised Bikini with the tortoise shell.  The rest, well you’ll have to keep reading to find out what other summer-inspired goodies were curated into this summer’s box.

The Straw Panama Hat from Sole Society has just the right amount of decoration to take it from a simple straw hat to a very fashion forward hat.  If you haven’t noticed, pom poms are on everything these days, from sneaker laces, to beach bags, and now on hats.  The pom pom ribbon gives the hat a 2017 summer fashion vibe!

What in the world is next Bikini?  It is very exciting to unwrap the “presents” in the box.

These sunglasses are perfect for almost any shaped face.  They are Raen Durante Sunglasses, and Bikini’s are tortoise shell.  Doesn’t Bikini look super Glam in them?  Honestly, I think she looks like a movie star!  I love the Modern cateye shape, I think they are the bomb!

The necklace is by The Brave Collection, Compass Necklace.  It is gold, the chain is delicate, and the compass symbolizes never losing your direction in life, now that you have a compass.  It is really a great piece, easy to wear in the heat of the summer.  It also could mean that summertime is travel time, travel , discover, and   explore new places!  What’s also nice about the compass necklace is it is crafted by hand by fair trade artisans in Cambodia, and 10% of the profits are donated toward the fight against human trafficking. It really is a beautiful necklace in more ways than one!  Love that about it!

No, Bailey did not come out of the box of style.  Bikini rescued him last winter, and he is the most fun member of the family these days!  He just needed some lovin’ from his mommy!

Hibiscus Color Punch Stick can be worn on your cheeks for that summer time flush, and it can multi-task as a lipstick!  Personally, I had never heard of this brand before.  That is why it is so much fun to get Rachel Zoe’s Box of Style, as she is able to introduce us to many different brands and broaden our horizons.  I learned that Beauty Counter is an ingredient conscious brand,and there is something like 1,500 ingredients ingredients on their list of ingredients that they Will Not Use!  The blush stick is beautifully and richly pigmented, and it feels so creamy going on.  It was really easy to blend into Bikini’s cheeks.  She needed a little pick-me-up, and the flush she received was pure summer kissed by the sun.

Beauty Counter Protect Stick is the perfect sunscreen for your face.

It is in a solid stick that you can just rub on your face.  It looks white, but it goes on clear.

I love Kimono’s .  I started getting really into them last year.  This year, it is common practice and very fashionable to wear them many ways.  The way Bikini is wearing hers is my favorite way, over a t-shirt and shorts,  You can also wear it dressier, over a shirt and pants, or wear it to the beach over a bathing suit  Or, you can just wear it at home as lounge-wear.  It can go so many ways.  It is very fashion forward, and is a great piece to have in your closet!  When it is no longer a fashion statement, you can use it as a bathrobe!

What I love most about the box of style, besides having it delivered seasonally to my front door, I think it is the best of all the boxes I receive because Rachel Zoe packs each box with a lot of punch, the newest, the latest, and the greatest fashion , beauty, skincare, and accessories .  Some of it may be a little “out of your box” and may seem a little daring, but that is what makes it even more fun, to get something you actually wouldn’t buy yourself, yet, it looks great on you and you really love it!
