Patrick Ta is a Hollywood makeup artist. As a result, his famous clients include: Gigi Hadid, Chrissy Teigen, Ariana Grande, Katy Perry and Rihanna. Even more, Patrick loves two makeup looks. First, Patrick loves glowing skin.. Therefore, one look he does well is a sultry glow. As a result, he launched his makeup line with the Major Glow Collection. Furthermore, the Major Glow Collection includes an all over face and body oil. In addition, there is a face and body mist. Last, is is a glowing lip gloss. The Packaging For Patrick Ta Monochrome Moment Velvet Blush

THE OUTER BOX FOR THE MONOCHROME MOMENT VELVET BLUSH
First, I love that the blush packaging is luxe. For one thing, the packaging is a monochromatic moment, in rose gold. It is simple and to the point.

METALLIC ROSE-GOLD COMPACT SHOWS ALL YOUR FINGERPRINTS
So, the compact has a pull up, snap down lid. Inside the compact, there is a full-size mirror.

Also, the pan of the blush is a substantial size! Moreover, the compact is perfect for travel. I think just about any compact, that has a mirror, is travel worthy! Although, a brush is not included. However, the substantial amount of blush in this palette is worth not having a brush. In fact, half the time, everyone hates the brush that comes with blush. Usually, I throw them away, rather than have it fall out of the compact every time I open the case.

INSIDE THE SHE’S PASSIONATE MONOCHROME MOMENT VELVET BLUSH COMPACT
To begin with, it is important to understand Patrick Ta’s philosophy. For one thing, Patrick loves glowing skin. The reason is, he feels that glowing skin means healthy skin. Furthermore, glowing skin looks youthful, fresh, modern and healthy. Everyone wants to look as naturally beautiful, and as naturally glowing as possible. Therefore, he loves to create a blush look that looks diffused, like a cloud. As a result, the Velvet Blush is subtle. Therefore, it needs to be built!
Another reason I love this blush is the blush is perfect for dry skin. This is because the blush is soft, and moisturizing. Moreover, the soft pigment mimics the natural flush of your face. The result is, your skin will look healthy and radiant. Also, Patrick designed this blush to be incredibly buildable. He prefers to build and “grow” the color.

Because the formula includes moisturizers and specially treated pigments, the pigments swipe on evenly. The powder melts into the skin. Additionally, you will get a seamless application. Another perk is, the blush is long-lasting.
Last, the blush gives you a natural-looking glow. It is meant to look as diffused as if it were a cloud.
The Patrick Ta Monochrome Moment Velvet Blush Shades
First, Patrick Ta named each blush after a special quality that describes his muses. There are four shades. All of the shades are supposed to be universally flattering. I purchased She’s Passionate.

My Final Thoughts on The Patrick Ta Monochrome Moment Velvet Blush……
At first, I was disappointed with this blush. The reason is, I love blush. Lots of it! And, the first time I applied the Monochrome Moment Velvet Blush, it was too sheer. And, from the look of the color in the pan, I assumed it would go on like a Nars blush.
However, now understanding Patrick Ta’s methods, and realizing the look he was after, I understand that the blush was designed to go on sheer. And, according to Ta, to then “grow” the color. In addition, it still needs to look like a diffused cloud of blush on your cheeks. Therefore, the soft pigments mimic the natural flush of your face. And, it makes your complexion look healthier, and more radiant.
PS
Another thing I love is the blush is moisturizing, soft and radiant. As a result, it is perfect for people, like me, who have dry skin. Another perk for me was the seamless application, that lasted all day.
Finally, now that I understand what was expected of this blush, I get it. and, I hope you get it too! I can’t wait to see more makeup from Patrick Ta!!!!!
Let me know what you think in the comments below! Have any of you tried this blush? Have you tried anything from his Major Glow Collection? I’d love to hear your thoughts! Last, I would like to try one of the other shades. How about you?
Last of all, I hope everyone is doing well, and feeling well. I am happier when the sun comes out. On rainy days, that are cold and damp, I am miserable. Last night I took an online MasterClass course. And, I’m getting ready to color my hair again! What have you been doing?
