Pat McGrath Sublime Skin Highlighter Holiday

One of my favorite Collections for Holiday 2020, thus far, is from Pat McGrath.  First , it is the most exciting collection for the holidays, that I’ve seen.  In addition, the PM collection includes lots of goodies.  For one thing, the collection revolves around the PM Mega-Mothership Eyeshadow Palette, the 18 shade Celestial Divinity Palette.  In fact, this palette is the largest eyeshadow palette in all of Pat McGrath’s Collections.  Even more, the collection includes the Pat MCGrath Sublime Skin Highlighter.  Also included is the Matte Trance Pave Heart Lipstick Duo. Any one product in this collection would make a fantastic gift! The reason is, everything in the collection is luxurious, and high-end. I, for one, would love to receive a gift from Pat McGrath’s Holiday Collection 2020!

You can find the entire PM Celestial Divinity Holiday Collection 2020 on the Pat McGrath Website. The PM Sublime Skin Highlighter (0.22g/6.5g) costs $65. Also, the The Matte Trance Pave Heart Lipstick Duo (.14 oz/4g) costs $82 for both shades.

To begin with, exceptional, festive packaging is a holiday tradition.  And, if you are gifting, then you are going to want your gift to look special.  The reason it will,  is because holiday packaging uses all the bells and whistles would make your gift…giftable! Therefore, the Sublime Skin Highlighter comes packaged in an opulent, gold mirrored jar/compact.  I call it a jar because the lid screws off and on. Another reason it is more jar than compact is it is weighty. In fact, this jar is meant to sit out on your vanity.  It is really a stunning jar.  If it were meant to be a compact, then there would have been a mirror on the inside of the jar’s lid.  However, there is not mirror.  That is because it really is meant to sit out, on top your vanity.

Additionally, I’ve always loved Pat’s trademark “Hieroglyphics”.  In the case of the Sublime Skin highlighter jar, the hieroglyphics are what stands out on top of the jar!

Finally, inside, the highlighter powder is etched with an architectural design.

Wait til you see how cool this packaging is!  First, the Matte Trance Lipstick Duo each come in in couture black bullets that are trimmed in gold. However, what makes them so giftable is the pave heart that is embellished in swarovski crystals.  Therefore, the hearts on both tubes look like diamonds!  Outstanding packaging outside, great product inside!

The Sublime Skin Highlighter Formula

To begin with, the powder is a lightweight, silky powder veil.  Also important, this powder doesn’t have any glitter in it!  Instead it has a luminous, pearlized finish.  And, with several coats, you can achieve a metallic-like finish.  It gives you the most beautiful , sublime highlight.

The Matte Trance Lipstick Duo Formula

First, the matte trance lipstick formula is creamy and hydrating.  Usually, those two words would not describe a matte lipstick.  However, Pat’s formula is miraculous!  I applied the lipstick in the early afternoon.  I had lunch, and dinner, and the lipstick still looked great.  Also, it felt comfortable on my lips.  Then, after dinner, I checked, and it was still on my lips!  So, It really lasts all day!  Even more, the formula feels lightweight.  Although, one stroke still creates richly pigmented color.

The Celestial Divinity Collection Sublime Skin Highlighter Shades and The Matte Trance Pave Heart Lipstick Duo Shades

The Sublime Skin Highlighter, a warm shade of light rose gold, has a luminous pearlized finish.  First, you can wear this highlighter on the high points of your face.  For example, wear it to illuminize the ops of your cheeks.  Then, illuminate the center of your eyelids.

Also, wear it on your brow bones, down the center of your nose, and on or Cupid’s bow.  Finally, don’t stop there!  Wear this to illuminate your shoulders, and decolletage.

Then, Pat McGrath describes the Matte Trance Pave Heart Lipstick in “Omi” as a no holds barred nude shade.

Further, I describe Omi as a warm dusty rose shade, that has a satin, matte finish.

The other shade in the duo, Elson, is a deep red shade, that has a satin, matte finish.

My Final Thoughts On The Celestial Divinity Collection Sublime Skin Highlighter and Matte Trance Pave Heart Lipstick Duos ………

Out of all the holiday collections for Holiday 2020, I think Pat McGrath’s Celestial Divinity Collection is the best of all.  First, it is the most exciting. Second, the packaging is gorgeous.  Also, the packaging is totally giftable.  Even more, as always, Pat’s formulas, and shades are the best of the best!
