It is here! The Pat McGrath Mothership Eyeshadow Palettes are on the Pat McGrath Labs Website, and Sephora.com. They sell for $125. They are so gorgeous. I purchased all three of them! All of these palettes have ten iconic eyeshadows. Each shadow has one of seven finishes. Pat McGrath, who is a top makeup artist, has finally made eyeshadows exciting again. My favorite palette of the three, Mothership 111 Subversive Eye Palette, is the party palette. It is a twinkler with lots of vibrant pigments, golds and purples as well as some neutral brown shades.

Gigabyte is the color that attracted me to the Mothership 111 Subversive Eye Palette. The Gigabyte shade is an antiqued greenish-gold. I can’t wait to wear this vibrant shade on my eyelids. It can also be worn wet to line the inner corners of your eyes. Using Gigabyte wet creates a glittering golden green.

A gunmetal black with a silver pearl, this shade would look awesome on my eyelids since it has flashes of crystalline and blackened pearl.
Blitz Amethyst
I would love to use this shade to embellish my eyes by using it in the crease or on the lids. Blitz Amethyst is a deep purple with a blue pearl. The shade is gorgeous, a vibrant blue with an edgy vibrant flash.
Astral Ghost Orchid
The shade Astral Ghost Orchid is an iridescent white shade with a flash of pink. Use this shadow to color morph, and change the shadow’s color and give it a shine. The best way to apply this color morphing shade is to use your fingers.
Mothership 111 Subversive Eye Palette Formula

There are 6 powderluxe pressed eyeshadows in the Mothership 111 Subversive Palette, whose finishes are matte, pearl and sparkle. There are 4 modern hybrid eyeshadows with metallic, satin sheen, iridescence and holographic brilliance finishes.
The emollient-like texture glides on with one stroke. Even with one stroke, the intensity of the matte shades is velvety. The shades say on, are longwearing and do not crease. The textures of the shades are soft and creamy which makes them super blendable.
Can’t wait to try the other two Mothership Palettes. I am madly in love with the Subversive Palette. And, I’m so thrilled that Pat McGrath has finally created her own permanent line.
