Natasha Denona launched two new eye shadow palettes . First, the Natasha Denona Mini Lila Palette launched at the end of July. Then, The Natasha Denona Camel Eyeshadow Palette launched in August. Next, I wanted to do a comparison of both palettes in a review. However, I realized that the palettes weren’t close enough to compare. As a result, I decided to write a review for each palette. First, I am going to review The Natasha Denona Mini Lila Palette. To begin with. it is the mini companion to the Natasha Denona full-sized palette. Therefore, both palettes have a plum/violet color scheme. On the one hand, the new Lila Mini has five, brand new, limited edition, shades. These shades are compatible with the large Lila’s fifteen full-size shades. Moreover, the mini costs $25. On the other hand, the full-sized Lila Palette, with fifteen full-sized shades. costs $129.
You can find the Full sized Lila Palette at Sephora, The Natasha Denona Website and Beautylish. The palette retails for $129.
You can find the Mini-sized Lila Palette at Sephora and the Natasha Denona Website. The palette retails for $25.
The Natasha Denona Mini Lila Palette Packaging
The mini palette’s packaging is sleek and compact. Also, it is very user-friendly. First, the palette’s compact is plastic. Next, the cover of the palette is clear. As a result, you can see into the palette. Therefore, you can see the five shades, without having to open the palette.
This is great for someone, like me, who has tons of palettes. Because I can see through to the shades, it is easier to choose a palette from a huge stack of palettes! In addition, it is portable so it is easy to travel with. Throw it into your handbag, But, make sure you bring a mirror and a brush! Unless, of course, you’d rather touch up your eye makeup with your fingers.
The Natasha Denona Mini Lila Palette Formula
Since she began her makeup line, I’ve been a huge Natasha Denona fan! The reaon is, her eye shadow shades are gorgeous. Additionally, her formula is smooth and it feels like butter. The shadows have rich pigments Above all else, the shadows are easy to apply. As a result, they blend easily. However, the norm has been her shadows tend to have some fallout. Traditionally, her shimmer shades have been soft and creamy. Although, this is not the case with the Mini Lila Palette. The shades are not the same, and the formula seems different. Therefore, I found the Mini palette had minimal fallout.
The Natasha Denona Mini Lila Palette Shades
I’m in love with the gem-like shades of the Mini-Lila Palette. The first shade, Poison Berry, is a vibrant fuchsia shade with blue undertones. It has a matte finish. First, you can use Poison Berry to line your upper and lower lashes. And, use it in the outer v of your eye, and bring it into your crease.
Next, Blue Dahlia, my favorite shade, is purple with a blue reflect and turquoise sparkles. And, it has a duochrome finish. Press Blue Dahlia on to your eyelids. Next, use it wet to line the lower lash line, and connect it to your upper lash line.
Third, Raisin, is a cool shade of burgundy with a matte finish. You can use Raisin on your outer v, as a transition color in your crease, or as a liner on your lower and upper lash lines.
Next, Linen is a cool-nude champagne shade that has a metallic finish. You can use Linen on your brow bone, and on the inner corner of your eyes.
Last, Flint is a nude sand shade with a matte finish. At first, it didn’t seem to go with the other shades in the palette. However, I tried it on the outer corner of my eye. In addition, I continued from the lower lash line, and brought it upwards, and into my crease as a transition shade. As it turns out, Flint looks gorgeous when used this way. That’s why Natasha Denona is a great makeup artist, and I’m not!
Natasha Denona Mini Lila Palette Last But Not Least…….
Do you remember the original ND Sunset Palette? Afterwards, Natasha made a Mini Sunset Palette. It was successful, so she did the same with the Big Lila and Mini Lila Palettes. First, the cost of the regular, large palettes is over $100 more than the Mini Palettes. However, the less expensive mini palettes also create both neutral and bold looks. More important, the mini palettes are an affordable option, especially if you love the big palettes and don’t want to spend the big bucks. Above all, it is a great opportunity to try Natasha’s eye shadows. The mini palettes are the way to go to see if you love their quality! Last of all, they are so much more portable than the large palettes, which makes them easy to travel with!
Have you tried any of the Natasha Denona products yet? I think you are in for a big surprise. Natasha’s products are top of the line, quality products. Her shimmery metallics and duochromes are my favorites! I always love hearing from you! Let me know what you think in the comments below.
