The New, limited edition, Nars Hot Tryst Cheek Palette is part of the Nars Holiday Collection. I love that the inspiration for the palette was iconic punk fashions from the 1970s. Above all, I fell in love with this Palette because it is an attention grabber. The compact is gorgeous. Moreover, the textures of the compact and the shades in their pans, spikes and studs, is as cool as punk itself! Furthermore, as you will see, the palette is extremely versatile. Moreover, the blush and highlighters will look good on everybody. Most of all, it will make a great gift for the holidays. However, you can also gift one to yourself! You’re worth it!

Nars Hot Tryst Cheek Palette Packaging
Wow! The packaging, inspired by the Punk fashion of the 1970s, is edgy and hot!!!
Hence, the Hot Tryst palette studded its style. Moreover,inside,the palette spiked its colors. Also, the compact is sturdy plastic. I like this so much better than a compact made from thick cardboard. The reason is, I think the compact holds up better when you travel, or when you drop it on the floor. Also, the metallic silver compact has spikes all over it, and NARS. in red, across the front.
Opened, the compact has a mirror on one side, and six colors on the other side. However, the big surprise is the texture of the six colors. Wait for it, wait for it … also spiked and studded are the colors!
So, how fabulous do they look in their pans?
Nars Hot Tryst Cheek Palette Formula
To begin with, some of the colors look very pigmented. However, this is not the case. In fact, the colors can be somewhat sheer. And, the luxurious texture feels weightless. Therefore, you have to build and layer the colors to get the color that is in the compact. As a result, you can build the pigments. Furthermore, the shades layer seamlessly. Also the formula is wet/dry. In other words, you can apply it dry for a beautiful, neutral flush of color. On the other hand, you can apply it wet for the colors to amp up and come alive. All of the powders are soft, blendable, and they have a smooth texture.

The first shade, Kings Road, is an opalescent pink highlighter.
Next,Swindle is a sparkling pale pink blush.
Then, Untamed is a shimmering magenta blush.
On the next row, Friction is a shimmering taupe highlighter.
Bowery is a shimmering coral blush.
Finally, Adrenaline is a raspberry shade with gold shimmer blush.
Nars Hot Tryst Cheek Palette Last But Not Least…..
First of all, the Hot Tryst Cheek Palette is extremely versatile. You can use it to create contours, highlights, and pops of color. You will be able to create natural-looking dimension, (not the Kim Kardashian West kind!). What is great about this palette is, you get to choose what you want. For instance, are you looking for a light, flushed look? On the other hand, do you feel like going crazy with an intense, vibrant glow? If you want a natural look, use the powders dry. If you want more color, use a stiff brush that will grab more color. Or, for the highest intensity, use a synthetic brush for a wet application. Moreover,blend the shades together.
So, you’ve got a blush, a blush topper, and a highlighter. And, you can use the shades wet or dry. As a result, you can create the intensity that you want. I like choices. And, you get a lot of them with this palette. What do you like about this palette? I think the price, for the six shades, is really reasonable. Do you?
