Today, I am reviewing the new Makeup Up For Ever Reboot Foundation. First, Make Up For Ever created Reboot , specifically, to correct the 5 effects that fatigue has on our skin. As a result, the foundation will brighten, smooth, hydrate, firm and even out your tired skin. And, it does this for 24 hours. Also, the Foundation is supposed to revitalize your skin throughout the day. Moreover, it gives you medium coverage. And, it leaves your skin with a luminous, satiny finish.
The Reboot Foundation Packaging
To start with, Make Up For Ever’s outer box is eye-catching. First, it is a shiny dark black shade. The print is in the whitest white shade. And, the only color, besides black and white, are red lips. Moreover, the red lips have big white teeth. The teeth are clenching what looks like a lip brush. Next, the foundation comes in a glass bottle. And, the bottle has a black plastic lid. Also, the bottle feels weighty in my hand.
Once the lid is off, the foundation has a pump dispenser.I love when liquid foundations come with a pump. It saves me from a lot of mess.
Also, pump dispensers are more accurate. You just do one pump at a time, until you get the coverage you want.
The Reboot Foundation Formula
For one thing, Reboot isn’t just any foundation. Instead, it is more a foundation/skincare hybrid. In fact, Reboot’s full name is “Reboot, An Active Care Revitalizing foundation.” Instantly, the foundation gives your skin a reboot. Hence, the moment you apply the foundation, for the next 24 hours, your skin will look brighter, smoother, and evened out. Furthermore, your skin will feel firmer, and more hydrated. Also, over time, it only gets better and better! Therefore, Reboot benefits your skin instantly, and long term.
Furthermore, Reboot gives you light to medium coverage. Also, you can build it to the coverage you want. Although, it isn’t going to give you full coverage. Also, it is super lightweight. In fact, instantly, your skin will look smoother, and feel like healthy skin. Even more, it continues to plump and firm your skin over time.
The Reboot Foundation Key Ingredients
Moreover, the three key ingredients are Camellia, Ginseng, and Mono Grass. First, Camellia extract works to stimulate your skin’s own collagen production. Next, Ginseng Japonica Extract helps restore the skin’s natural glow. Finally, Mondo Grass helps to strengthen the skin’s protective skin barrier.
The Technology Behind Reboot Foundation
Finally, the formula includes the breakthrough technology, Active Care Matrix Complex. the technology , Active Care Matrix, is a smart biopolymere structure. Moreover, it takes effect on the surface of the skin, acting like a face mask. Then, the ingredients are released onto your skin. The results are immediate. And the results are lasting! They last for up to 24 hours.
The Reboot Foundation Shades
To begin with, there are 24 Reboot shades in the collection. Moreover, the shade range starts at the fairest of the fair, continues to light, then it goes to medium light. Next, the range includes medium, and medium tan shades. Next, the shades progress through tan shades, including Golden Honey, Amber, Caramel, and Cinnamon. Then, it goes darker, shades of brown, until it reaches the deepest of the deep.
Even more, the shades all have undertones. For example, my shade, Y355 is a beige shade with neutral undertones. I think I could have gone up to a light medium with neutral undertones.
Although, the color was very forging. Therefore, it ended up looking good on my skin. Additionally, there are gold, pink, yellow peach and red undertones. There will always be someone who doesn’t match up to one of the shades. However, I think Make Up For Ever did a great job covering all the bases.
My Final Thoughts On The Make Up For Ever Reboot Foundation……..
First of all, I love that Reboot is a foundation/ skincare hybrid. It kind of reminds me of a CC Cream. Although, this is a liquid foundation. Since it is a liquid, I’m glad for the pump! In this way, liquid doesn’t splash all over!
Reasons Not To Purchase Reboot
Two reasons you wouldn’t purchase this foundation. First, if your skin is oily, this is way too hydrating for your skin. So, stay clear of it. Also, if you love full cover foundations, skip this one. It is a true light to medium coverage.
Don’t be too concerned about choosing your shade. I found that it really adapted to my skin. I still may order the lighter one. But, I really don’t have to.
Finally, I love the light, silky texture, and how it glides on the skin. It really is a beautiful foundation. I love that it gives you luminosity. And, it doesn’t oxidize throughout the day. Last of all, it held up all day. Therefore, it is long-wearing. It really does revive your complexion. And, the silky smooth texture feels comfortable on your skin.
Now, it’s your turn. Let me know what you think of “Reboot”! Have you tried it? I would love some feedback. So, don’t be shy, and stop by to comment in the comment box below.
