Furthermore, I bought it last week, when I had to fly to Florida for one of my best friend’s son’s wedding. As a result, I was in the airport the night after Thanksgiving.
The night before, I cooked and hosted 22 people for Thanksgiving dinner for 22 . Now, I’m walking to my gate, when I passed the Mac store. Rather, I almost passed it. However, the display, at the front of the store ,was twinkling. I didn’t have much time, but I had to see the Mac Holiday Collection. As a result, , I fell in love with the holiday collection. Then, I had to go because my husband was paging me. So, I grabbed the Mac Holiday Star Sighting Neutral Eye Palette, and a holiday lipstick kit. Moreover, the girl that was helping me rang me up faster than the speed of light. So, I ran 22 gates to find my husband getting on the plane. At this point, I was happy. New makeup makes me happy! Even more, sparkly makeup, and red lipsticks make me happy.

The Mac Holiday Star Sighting Neutral Eye Palette Packaging
Mac’s 2019 Holiday Packaging is better than all the other brands out there. First of all, the eyeshadow palette, wrapped in the most sparkling pink champagne glitter, has a web of a black velvety grid all over it. In fact, I’ve never seen packaging like that before. Then, inside , on one side of the palette is a full mirror.
On the other side are the six neutral eyeshadow shades. Even more, these six shades go from unassuming, sedate mattes, to frosts, and meteoric, out of this wold dazzles!
The Mac Holiday Star Sighting Neutral Eye Palette Formula
To begin with, the Dazzle Shadows have a high sparkle finish. Also, they give a 3D multidimensional effect. All of the shadows have creamy textures. And, the color stays true to the pan color. Also, the shadows adhere to the eyes. Additionally, the shadows have bold pigments. Furthermore, you can apply the shadows either wet or dry.
The Mac Holiday Star Sighting Neutral Eye Palette Shades
I ended up wearing this Mac Holiday Star Sighting Neutral Eye Palette to the Florida wedding.
First, Wedge, a soft muted beige-taupe shade, has a matte finish. For the wedding, I used Wedge all over my eyes as a base. Then, I used the beige-taupe shade in my crease, and up a bit further as a transitional shade.
Next, Star Violet, a pinky-brown plum shade, has a velvet pearl finish. I applied Star Violet in my crease. Next, I put the pinky-brown plum shade on the outer third of my eyelids.
Also, Cordial, a deep brown shade, has a matte finish. First, I used the deep brown shade on the outer third of my crease. Also, Cordial makes a great bottom lash liner.
In addition, North Star, a yellow gold shade, has a frost finish. I love this yellow gold frost on the inner third of my eyelids. Then, I like to use this shade on the inner corners of my eyes. Also, I used North Star to highlight my brow bones.
Stars In My Pocket
Furthermore, Stars In My Pocket, a pink champagne shade, has a Dazzle Shadow Glitter Finish. First, using my finger, I patted Stars In My Pocket onto the outer third of my eyes. Then, using a brush, I patted the pink champagne shade onto my lower lash lines.
Finally, Let’s Roll, a red bronze shade, has a Dazzle Shadow High sparkle finish. First of all, I patted the red bronze shade on the outer corners of my eyes with an eyeshadow brush. Next, I used my fingers, and tapped some Let’s Roll onto the centers of my eyelids. This gave my eyes a 3D multidimensional effect.
Also, I started my look with Mac Foundation N 6.5. And, I used Huda Beauty’s Black eyeliner to line my eyes. Also, I used Too Faced Damn Girl Mascara. Last, I used the New Gucci Lipstick in Teresina Red.
Mac Holiday Star Sighting Neutral Eye Palette Tips
First, if you want more intensity, use an eyeshadow base. Next, if you are looking for a bold eye look, apply the shadows with a brush. Use pressing motions to build the color. And, if you want a diffused look, apply the shadow to the eyes using a shadow brush. Then, use circular motions to blend in the color. Finally, apply the Dazzle Shadows with your fingers. Although, you can pat them on with a brush. And you can sheer them out with a sponge. All of the shadows can be used wet or dry.

To begin with, the inspiration for this holiday collection comes from the twinkle twinkling little stars in the sky. Although, the result that you will get when you where these shimmering shades is you will twinkle like the star you are! I love shiny, sparkly makeup for the holiday season. It will make you feel so festive when you wear a little sparkle. And, if you don’t wear sparkle during the holidays, when else would you wear sparkly makeup?
