Mac’s Girls Collection has six Personality Palettes that range from “Basic Bitch”(smokey gray shades) to “Rockin’ Rebel” (blues and greens), and Mischief Minx (the bronze shades.) I purchased Mac Girls Mischief Minx at Mac Cosmetics ($39.50) because it was the most neutral of all of the Palettes. I am waiting for Rockin’ Rebel to restock, because it is the most colorful palette, and Basic Bitch which is a great palette for smokey eyes. Hopefully Mac will restock these sellouts.
Packaged in leopard print, Mac Girls Mischief Minx is a portable palette, two inches wide, eight inches long.
Mac Girls Mischief Minx has a full-sized mirror inside the palette.
Specifically, Mac has created a new pressed powder formula for The Girl Palettes, with finely milled powder that feels soft and silky, is richly pigmented, and has four finishes. Therefore the finishes are satin sheen, foiled, smooth pearl, and creamy matte. A lot of matte powders can be chalky and hard to blend, but I can attest that the matte shades in Mac Girls Mischief Minx feel silky and creamy.
There are 8 eyeshadows, and 1 highlighter.
Mischief Minx is a warm, soft medium orange shade with a golden pearl finish. It goes on semi-opaque, but after another swipe of the brush, it becomes opaque. I recommend wearing this shadow all over the lid, or as a crease shade. This shade is in keeping with all of the orangey-reds seen in all of the summer palettes, from Anastasia, Natasha Denona, and Urban Decay.
First, V Frisky is a light gold with a metallic finish that is reflective in the pan. Also, it looks sparkling wet. Furthermore, I would wear this shade all over my lid for a night out, or as a highlighter, applying it with a light hand.
Natural Tease is a warm copper shade with a metallic sheen. I would either wear this on the outer corner of my eyelid, or in my crease, or as a full shadow on my eyelid when I am sporting a bronzey look.
She-nanigans is a warm rosy brown shade with a pearl sheen finish. It looks great as a crease shade, or on the eyelid.
Flaming Femme, a berry shade, has warm red undertones in a matte finish. Above all, it’s a crease color, or an above the crease on the outer half of the brow bone, with a highlighter on top of the brow bone.
Schemer is a medium-dark warm brown shade with a matte finish. Totally a crease shade, or even use it as a liner. Also can be smoked out on the outer corner of the eye.
Been There Done That is a warm milk chocolate brown with a satin sheen – another great crease shade!
Mac Girls Mischief Minx’s ‘Totally Trouble’ is a blackened purple. It is a neutral shade with a matte finish. It would make a gorgeous liner, or a fabulous smokey eye.
The highlighter in Mac Girls Mischief Minx is Stride of Pride, a warm rosey-gold pink with a pearly sheen . Next, place it on the high points of the face; the brow bone, the cheek bones, the Cupid’s bow, and down the center of the nose and anywhere else you want to highlight!

Mac Girls Mischief Minx Sum
The bronzey shades set this palette apart from the orange/red sunset palettes. Mostly they neutralize the palette which makes it very wearable. Above all, this is an easy palette to use. It is the kind of palette that you’ll pull out and wear often.
