Just Another Manic Monday keeps going through my head! Here we go again! HELLO WEEK! LET’S DO THIS!
Can I tempt you to take a swipe from the newest Lipstick Queen Color – Eden? Eden’s inspiration came from none-other than that famous mythical Garden, you know, the one where Eve enticed Adam into taking a bite from that forbidden apple! That was the beginning of the end of Paradise. Which later became popular in “Paradise Lost” John Milton’s classical epic poem of the same name.
Lipstick Queen’s Eden ($24) is a gorgeous red color that looks great on everyone’s skin-tone. Eden Lipstick is ten percent pigment which makes it a flattering semi-sheer apple red.
As you can tell from the swatch, the formula is glossy.
The formula lasts longer than a lot of semi-sheer lipsticks I’ve tried. It is also does a great job hydrating your lips because of the ingredients : Olive Oil, Sunflower Seed Oil, Shea Butter, and Vitamin E.
According to the founder, Poppy King, Eden is quoted as being “the most tempting lipstick on earth.” It is also supposed to have a “magical apple-green holographic shimmer. I can’t seem to see it, but I can’t see much these days, maybe you can see it?
Let me know in the comments below if you see the magical apple-green shimmer, because if you do, I’m going to have to get my eyes checked!

The first and second pictures look like they have a faint shimmer that might be green! I have two LQ Butterfly Ball lipsticks, which have a green-blue shimmer that just barely catches in the light.
I really want this lipstick but have been concerned about whether or not the color would look good on me since I don’t gravitate towards reds, but I might get it just because I love LQ so much.
Hi Teja. I agree with you, the lipstick does have a faint shimmer. I love the LQ too! Reds are difficult because there are so many shades, some that lean more toward orange, and the others with blue in them. I feel this particular shade is really neutral, or maybe I’m trying to say it is not an “in your face” red. It is more muted I think. I wouldn’t be too concerned about the color, I think it is a beautiful shade of “neutral” red, not too blue, not too pink, and not too orange. Let me know if you do get it, I am interested to see if you like the color when you try it! I love reds, but lately I have been wearing the Kylie Jenner look with more browns and neutrals. I am glad you wrote in because now that it is summer, I’ll have to wear my Eden more often!!!!! The Brown neutrals are getting too boring for summer!
