Laura Gellar Baked Gelato Swirl Diamond Dust Illuminator Packaging
The compact is fairly basic, and very “New York” chic and sleek. First, the compact’s lid is plastic. Therefore, it is see-through. Moreover through the lid, you are able to see the delicious swirl of “gelato”. To me it looks like creamy icing swirled on a cake. Whatever you’re thoughts are , gelato looks fluffy and delicious.
I love the way the diamond dust illuminator looks opalescent. Also I can see a touch of pink opalescence in the swirls.
Laura Gellar Baked Gelato Swirl Diamond Dust Illuminator Formula
The Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminators are a Laura Geller cult favorite. Equally important, the baked formula is unique, because it goes through a baking process. For this reason, the finished powder has a hybrid texture. First, it feels creamy. However, the cream applies like a sheer powder.
Furthermore, ingredients centella asiatica, whole tea extract and red seaweed extract are included so that the powder is easy to blend. Most important, Italian Spring Water, the only water Laura uses to mix her illuminators. As a result, the illuminators are chock full of minerals.
The baking process starts out with the product, a swirl of liquid. Next, the liquid color-corrective pigments are poured onto terra-cotta pans. Lastly, the pans are baked for 24 hours.
And, the final result is the extremely fine, silky-smooth powder illuminator.
The Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator Diamond Dust Shade
Diamond Dust has an opal effect. Moreover, the color shifts to an iridescent pink.
The pink shifts cause the illuminating powder to take on an ethereal glow.
On my arm diamond dust has a soft, radiant, holographic, unicorn look. Also, the shade provides a translucent wash of luminizing color.
