Are you ready for some fall makeup? Lancome X Proenza Schouler Fall Collection is now available. However, You better hurry, or you’re going to miss it. The reason for this is the Lancome X Proenza Schouler Fall collaboration is a limited edition collection. Furthermore, you are going to love it! To begin with, the collection has two eye shadow palettes. One is warm and the other is cool. Also included in the collection, are Eye and Lip Liner Kajals. And, the lip liner’s come with their own lip gloss. It would take me forever to write about the whole collection. Therefore, I am going to break it down, and start with the Eye Shadows.
You can find the Lancome X Proenza Schouler Fall Collection at Bloomingdales, Nordstroms, Saks and Lancome USA Website. Each palette retails for $50.
Lancome X Proenza Schouler Fall Collection – Who is Proenza Schouler?
First, Proenza Schouler is the name of an American Fashion House. However, the co-founders/designers, Laranzo Hernandez and Jack McColloug knew their names didn’t have a high-end ring to them. As a result, they both chose their mother’s maiden names. Therefore, Proenza is the maiden name of Hernandez’s mom, and Schouler is the maiden name of McCollough’s mom!
Although their brand name sounds high-end, the guys regret choosing it. The reason for this is no one can pronounce it correctly!
Lancome X Proenza Schouler Fall Collection – The Collaboration
Why did Lancome, a classic high-end, makeup line choose Proenza Schouler for their fall collaboration?
To begin with, Lancome, in the past, has done collaborations with other fashion designers. Specifically, Lancome likes to choose interesting, “of the moment” designers. As a result of this particular collaboration, the collaboration turned out to be a bright, colorful collection.
Lancome X Proenza Schouler Fall Collection – The Eye Shadow Palettes
First, there are two eye shadow palettes in the collection. One palette has the warm shades. And, the other palette has the cool shades. Each of the palettes has ten eye shadow shades.
Lancome X Proenza Schouler Fall Collection – The Eye Shadow Palette Packaging
First, Proenza Schouler over-took Lancome’s soft blush colored palette, and rose and soft rose petals design and created an edgy, abstract design using fuchsia, deep purple, orange and black. Inside, there is a mirror on one side, and ten eye shadow pans on the other. Also, inside the palette, there is a double-ended application brush.
Lancome X Proenza Schouler Fall Collection – Warm Chroma Eye Shadow Palette 01
The Lancome X Proenza Schouler Fall Collection – Cold Chroma Eye Shadow Palette 02
Lancome X Proenza Schouler Fall Collection Chroma Eye Shadow Palettes ……Last But Not Least
Both Warm and Cold palettes are beautiful.
The warm palette has beautiful earthy reds, pinks browns and oranges. Also, these pigmented shadows come in four finishes. The finishes are creamy, matte, sparkling pearl and glitter. Both palettes are user friendly. In other words, they are easy to blend, easy to work with shades.
I would wear the warm Chroma Palette for more natural daytime looks. Although, you can step it up by wetting your brush. Then, you’ll get more vibrant color, and you’ll be able to create both day and night looks.
On the other hand, the ten colorful, vibrant shades in the cold palette are great fall shades.
Also, this palette is beautiful to wear in the evenings.
How much do you love these palettes? Which one is your favorite? I don’t think I can choose, I love them both. First, I love the warm shades to wear everyday. Next, the cold palette is just up my alley for those fall night time looks.
I’d love to hear your thoughts on the collaboration. Stop in and say hi in the comment section below.
Also, more to come from the collaboration!
