Kate Somerville, guru skincare specialist to the stars, just launched her first Cold Cream. The Kate Somerville Cold Cream is not your grandmother’s Cold Cream! First, it takes off all of your makeup. And, this includes taking off your waterproof mascara, long-wearing foundation, and lipstick stains. Second, it makes removing your makeup enjoyable. And, most important, it doesn’t strip your skin. Therefore, your skin won’t feel tight, and it won’t cause it to dry out. In fact, it moisturizes while it cleans, leaving your skin feel fresh, clean, soft and supple.
Kate Somerville Cold Cream Packaging
First of all, the Cold Cream comes in super cute packaging.
To illustrate, the white jar is plastic, and has a cool shape. Also, I love how good the pink writing looks on the jar. Hence, it looks really good sitting on your vanity table.
Kate Somerville Cold Cream Formula
Kate Somerville Cold Cream Most important, the Cold Cream is non-comedogenic. And, it doesn’t contain mineral oil. Therefore, this is the new and improved Cold Cream Formula. For example, your grandma’s cold cream’s ingredients included high concentrations of mineral oil. Also, it contained wax, such as beeswax, in water to thicken the cream. Also, the cream has a whipped texture. So, it is a lighter texture than a traditional cold cream. The traditional Cold Creams, when first applied to the skin, felt cold. Hence, the name “Cold” Cream. However, the new Cold Cream has a lighter texture, and doesn’t feel oily, so it doesn’t feel as cold as the traditional creams.
Furthermore, the ingredient, white honey, comes from the Kiewe Forest in Hawaii. Specifically, the Kiewe Trees are a source of nutrients. Therefore, the white honey is rich in nutrients. Additionally, the white honey crystallizes into a creamy, rich texture.
And, it is the color of white pearls. Furthermore, jasmine, rose and daisy work together to soothe the skin. Another plus, this floral bouquet makes the cream smell delicious.
Kate Somerville Cold Cream Application
First, applying the Cold Cream to your face should be the first step in your makeup routine. Furthermore, if you use the Korean Cleansing Regime, double cleansing, the Cold Cream can take the place of the oil in the first step. Although, it does such a great job, you might not even do a second step! So, apply the cold cream over your makeup. A little goes a long way. Massage it into your skin. Then, take a washcloth, run it under warm water, and wipe your face clean of the cream and makeup. It’s as simple as that!
Last But Not Least
Also, Kate recommends you rub a small amount of cream on dry, flaky patches. As a result, the cold cream will help moisturize those areas. Therefore, your makeup will glide on smoothly. And, when you mess up applying your makeup, dip a cotton swab into the cream and wipe away mascara, eyeliner, and lipstick.
Finally, in a clinical independent study, 100% of the participants agreed they had highly significant improvement in the moisture of their skin. Specifically, the Cold Cream is a moisturizing way to get rid of makeup, and clean the skin, without irritating and stripping the skin.
Because my skin is so dry, I am in love with this amazing product. The quality of Kate’s products, along with the clean feeling of my skin, sans mascara, and the amount of moisture in my skin, is amazing! Kate has taken Cold Cream to a whole other level. Do you use cream to remove your makeup? I have been using oil, because I have been doing the double-cleansing Korean regime. I like the fact the cream cleans my face, and moisturizes it at the same time! What do you think? Would you like to try Kate’s Cold Cream? Let me know in the comments below!
