The Jouer Metamorphosis Face Eye Palette is a limited edition palette. First, Jouer Metamorphosis is an all in one palette. In other words, you are able to create either daytime, or night time looks with it. Even more, the Jouer Metamorphosis Palette has six neutral eye shadows, in both cool and warm tones. In addition, the palette includes a luminous highlighter and a shimmering blush. The thing I love most about this All In One Jouer Palette is it is really simple to use. Also, I love that the palette has both cool and warm tones. In this way, the palette is really versatile. Hence, it is easy to use.
The Jouer Metamorphosis Face and Eye Palette Packaging
First, the outer packaging, a shiny light, light pink box, has gold butterflies flying on it. On the back of the outer box, is a picture of the palette, and the ingredients.
Then, the palette is a deep brown plastic case, that has shiny gold butterflies on it. Furthermore, the back of the palette has a picture of the palette, with the names of the shades written on it.
Also, the palette has six eyeshadows, a blush and a highlighter. Also included is an eyeshadow brush. Well, it isn’t what you would call the best eyeshadow brush in the whole wide world! However, don’t get rid of it. The reason is, you might forget to bring the right brushes with you. So, at least you’ll have something to apply the eyeshadows.
Also, the palette has a full-sized mirror. Since it has shades for your your eyes, cheeks, and highlights, an eyeshadow brush, and a mirror, this is the perfect palette to travel with. It really does have everything you need to enhance your face, and eyes.
The Jouer Metamorphosis Face and Eye Palette Formula
To begin with, there are 5 matte eyeshadows, and one metallic shadow in the palette. I found the matte shades were on the dry side. Therefore, they were not as creamy as I would have liked. As a result, I had some fallout under my eyes. The Dark Brown Matte shade, Transform, was the most difficult shade to pick up with a brush. Also, it was harder, than the rest of the mattes, to blend .
Moreover, the metallic shade, Gold Setter, looks wet. And, it leaves a glittery finish. Although, it still could have been a punchier shade. It was a bit too light for my liking. Yet, you can wet Gold Setter to get a more intense shade.
In addition, the shades are not as punchy with pigments as they look in the pans. However, the shades are buildable. Once on, the eyeshadows were long-wearing. Also, you can layer the shadows for more of a punch of color. Therefore, they can become more intense. Just be careful not to get it too messy. Also, if you layer too many shades, they begin to look muddy.

ROW 2 LEFT TO RIGHT – AWAKEN, REFRESH AND ANEW
The Jouer Metamorphosis Eyeshadows
First, DreamCatcher, a light warm cream shade, has a matte finish. For one thing, this is the shade that you’ll use as your all-over base color. Next, you can use DreamCatcher on the inner corners of your eyes. In this way, it acts as a highlighter. Moreover, use this warm cream shade on your brow bones.
Second, Gold Setter, a warm copper shade, has a metallic finish. Gold Setter is my favorite shadow in the palette. First of all, it is the only metallic eyeshadow shade in the palette. I love this warm copper shade all over the eyelids. Also, use it on your lower lash lines, over a deeper shade. Another way I would use Gold Setter is as a pop of color on the centers of my eyelids. For sure, this will give your eyes the pop they need. Also, use Gold Setter Wet for a deeper, more intense shade.
To begin with, Transform, a neutral-toned chocolate brown shade, has a matte finish. Moreover, Transform is the shade you’ll use to add definition to your eyes. Therefore, it can be used as a crease shade. Also, use it in the outer corners of your eyes. Even more, fill in the outer V of your eyes with this chocolate brown shade. Finally, use Transform to line your lower lash lines.
Next, Awaken, a cool dusty pink shade, has a matte finish. On me, Awaken is really light. However, if you are fair, or light to medium, you could wear Awaken in your crease. Although, it will still be pretty light. Maybe you could use this cool dusty pink as a transitional shade, for one of the deeper mauve shades. Personally, I would probably use Awaken on my eyelids. Or on the inner third of my eyelids to give my eyes a more Awakened look. I’m thinking that Awaken is pretty difficult to wear on medium and deep skin tones.
Moreover, Refresh, a cool deep mauve shade, has a matte finish. Now, Refresh is deeper, so I would be able to wear this in my crease. Although, I would still need the chocolate shade, in -there ,somewhere, to add some depth. Refresh could also be worn on the eyelids. If you apply Awaken on the inner third of your eyes, then you could use Refresh on the outer third.
Finally, Anew, a cool deep mauve shade, has a satin finish. First, I love Anew as a crease shade, especially if you are using the pink and mauve eyeshadows on your eye lids. Also, use Anew on the outer corners of your eyes. And, use Anew to line your lower, and upper lash lines.
The Jouer Metamorphosis Face and Eye Palette Blush in Inspiration
First, Inspiration Blush, a warm golden pink shade, has a shimmering finish. I really love this blush. For one thing, it has a slight glow. Therefore, you could really use it as a blush/highlighter. Apply the Inspiration Blush on the apples of your cheeks, and take it up to your temples.
Also, if you don’t have a bronzer, use the Blush on your temples, and your jawline. I even love using this glowing blush on my brow bones. Moreover, to apply the blush, I like to use a fluffy blush brush.
The Jouer Metamorphosis Face and Eye Palette Highlighter in Believe
Even more, The Believe Highlighter, a frosted pearl-gold shade, has a shimmering finish. I love this highlighter. One reason is, it packs a punch. Although, it isn’t a strobe light. Although, it really does bring your face to life. Wear it on all the high points of your face. In other words, wear it down the center of your nose, on your upper cheek bones, and your Cupid’s bow.
Also, I like to wear it to highlight my brow bones. Even more, you can highlight above your brows, and dust the rest of the brush down the center of your face.
The Jouer Metamorphosis Face and Eye Palette Last But Not Least…….
Finally, the thing I love about this palette is it is so simple to use. First, the shadows are warm and cool neutral shades. Furthermore, the cool and warm tones are a great mix in this neutral palette of eyeshadows. Even more, you’ll get a cohesive result every time! Also, the palette’s classic wearable shades are designed to be all you need for day to night.
Additionally, the neutral pearl highlighter, and the radiant pink blush instantly bring life to your face.
However, if your skin tone is too deep, the blush won’t show up, and the shadows will look ashy on your eyes! So, don’t even think about the palette if that is the case. For me, the shades show up o.k. However, I prefer shadows that have more punches of color.
Please Please Please let me know what you think of this Jouer Palette. I think, for the price, it would make a great gift for fair and medium skin tones. Write to me in the comments below. Or, just stop by and say hi, especially if you’re shy!
