What are some of your skin challenges? One of my most challenged areas is the skin under my eyes. First, the area under my eyes can be very dry. As a result, my fine lines show, especially when I wear makeup and concealer. Also, the concealer creases. In addition, at times, my under-eyes look puffy. On the other hand, I get dark circles under my eyes. Then, I look tired. One of the newest products I’ve tried is the Kona Eye Stick from FAB Beauty.
Recently, I discovered First Aid Beauty, when I purchased their Avocado Concealer. It is a great concealer because it smooths your under-eyes, conceals your imperfections, and has skin care ingredients that soothe and hydrate you skin. Isn’t this the recipe we’re all looking for? First, we need products that address our issues. Next, we want those products to benefit our skin. And last, we want our products to have clean ingredients, because mild, gentle and green ingredients should no longer be just a request. Instead, now, they must become a requirement. As a result, FAB uses only clean ingredients. Last of all, we want products that feel great and will pamper our skin.
You can find the First Aid Beauty Kona Eye Stick at Sephora and the First Aid Beauty Official Website. It retails for $24.
First Aid Beauty Kona Eye Stick Packaging
First, when I saw the box, I thought it was a first aid salve that you would find on a drug store shelf. I felt like I was in the Band-Aid and Neosporin aisle. Next, I saw Hello Fab written on the box. Then, I realized it was not for minor cuts and scratches after all. Although, you must admit, it is clever marketing. I almost believed I was buying first aid for under my eyes!
Also, the “ointment” comes in stick form. In fact, it is a really easy way to transport the product.
And, it is super easy to apply the Stick.
All you need to do is take off the cap, and swipe the product under your eye area.
First Aid Beauty Kona Eye Stick Formula
The ingredients include Kona Coffee, a Superfood that helps diminish the look of under-eye circles and puffiness. Furthermore, Cucumber and Aloe Water give eyes the feeling of a cool burst of water. Therefore, the Cucumber and Aloe water refreshes your eyes. Next, Sodium Hyaluronate helps to hydrate your eyes. Also, it smooths and plumps the skin under your eyes. Last, Micro-Pearls enhance the skin’s natural radiance.
First Aid Beauty Kona Eye Stick Benefits
First, the Eye Stick applies smoothly and doesn’t tug on the delicate skin in the eye area. Second, it gives you a nice, tingly feeling.
Third, it hydrates your skin. For me, this is the most important benefit. To explain, I have mature skin, so it keeps my under eye area hydrated all day. So, keeping the area hydrated keeps under eye lines and creases at bay. As a result, it makes for a great base/primer for you under eye concealer. The reason is, it keeps the skin soft and smooth so your concealer won’t crease. ( I love how the FAB Avocado Concealer looks on top!)
Finally, it brightens under your eyes which looks like you are getting more sleep than you really are! In fact, it is great for no makeup makeup days, because it will reduce under eye darkness, and give you a well rested look.
