EM Cosmetics So Soft Blush Collection

July was a busy month for EM Cosmetics.  In the beginning of July, the brand released the EM Venetian Rose Divine Skies Eyeshadow Palette.  Then, at the end of July, the brand released their new EM Cosmetics So Soft Blush Collection.  First, the So Soft Blush Collection includes six cream stick blushes in neutral to vibrant shades.  Also included in the So Soft Blush Collection are four EM Cosmetics Multi-Face Play cream sticks. Furthermore, the Multi-Face Play cream sticks are for bronzing and contouring your face.  Both the Cream Stick Blushes and the Multi-Face Play Cream Sticks have formulas that are almost identical.  However, both the Blush and the Multi-Face Play cream sticks, although similar, perform very different tasks.  Keep Reading To Learn More about these cream sticks from EM Cosmetics.EM COSMETICS SO SOFT BLUSH COLLECTION OUTER BOXES

Both the So Soft Cream Blush, and the Multi-Face Play Cream come in stick form.  Only, the difference between the two plastic sticks is, the Blush comes in the EM signature pink shade. SO SOFT BLUSH COLLECTION MULTI-FACE PLAY COMES IN WHITE STICKS In addition, the Multi-Face Play bronzer and contour comes in a white stick.  Next, the stick rolls up and down by turning the bottom of the stick.  And, the sticks both have lids that protect the product, and your handbag!

I love makeup that comes in a stick.  For example, foundations, like Hourglass Vanish Seamless Foundation comes in stick form.  Also, there are highlighter sticks, like the By Terry Nude Expert Stick Duo.  The new Anastasia Sticks come in a blush or a highlighter.  And, the list goes on and on.  There are many reasons to love makeup in stick form.  First, sticks are ideal if you don’t want to fuss with liquid or cream formulas. One reason is, you can apply the makeup in a stick directly onto your face.  Then, you can use your fingers if you want to get messy.  Or, you can use a sponge, or a brush to blend the product, never touching the makeup.  Another reason that sticks are a great way to go is the stick, considered “solid” delivers more pigment than other types of packaging.

Finally, the best reason to use a stick, if you are always on the go, you will love all the benefits of having makeup in stick form.  One, the stick is super easy to use.  Two, sticks are portable.  Therefore they are travel-worthy.  And, last, sticks are effective-they work!

The Formula For The EM Cosmetics So Soft Blush Collection

First, the formula for both the Blush and the Bronzer/Contour has a soft, creamy texture.  Therefore, the blush and the bronzer/contour apply seamlessly.  Also, the formula blends and layers for custom-color and dimension.

Next, the formula includes a few callout ingredients!  First, the So Soft Blush Collection is formulated with Satin Cloud Complex, a unique blend of rich powers and emollients.  Even more, the ingredients in the Satin Cloud Complex create an air whipped, mousse-like texture.  The other callouts, Squalane and Vitamin E, work to condition your skin.  Additionally, these two ingredients provide antioxidant protection.

The So Soft Blush Collection Shades

So Soft Blush

There are six So Soft Blushes.  I purchased three, Bitten, Passion, and Venetian Rose.  The Shades I didn’t purchase are Lychee, a warm melon shade; Baby, a pale pink shade, and Pearl Tea, a brownish-nude shade.  All of the blushes have a satin finish. All of the blush shades can be mixed and matched to create your own blush shades!

So Soft Multi-Face Play

The Multi-Face Play comes in four shades that range from fair to tan, and tan to deep skin tones. The Multi-Face Play stick is your multi-tasker.  First, you can use it as your bronzer, to create a sunlit glow. Next, you can use the Multi-Face Play stick to subtly sculpt your face.

I purchased the two shades for fair to tan complexions, Terra and Summer.  The shades I didn’t purchase, Nomadic, and Pangea, are for tan to deep skin tones.  First, Nomadic, a brown sugar shade with warm undertones, has a skin-like finish.  Then, Pangea, also for tan to deep complexions, ia a cacao shade with cool to neutral undertones, has a skin-like finish.

Terra

First, Terra, a milk-chocolate shade with neutral, cool undertones, has a skin-like finish.

My Final Thoughts On The So Soft Blush Collection…..

First of all, sticks are your friends.  They are easy to use.  Also, they are great for travel. And, you don’t ever have to touch a liquid or a cream and get all messy!  Blush is my desert island product.  I always look better with blush.

Now, we are deep in the heart of summer.  Blush enhances a tan. I love to wear brighter colors in the summer.  Also, creams are better than powders in the summer.

Also, where the Multi-Face Play is concerned, again, it is a cream.  Creams look better than chalky powders in the summer.  Especially when you are tan! Us it as your bronzer, brush it from your temples, across your nose, to your other temple.  Wear it over a blush to give it more of a sunkissed look!  Save the contouring for the winter!  Brush the bronzer on your forehead, around your hairline, to add definition.  Also, put some on your chin.  You’ll love the way you look.

xoxo
