With the New Year comes New Beauty Products. We are all familiar with BB and CC creams. Soon, DD creams, already popular abroad, will be arriving stateside. Specifically, what are DD Creams? In order to define DD cream, I need to go back to beauty’s A,B,Cs .
Basically, BB Creams are super-charged tinted moisturizers. In addition to SPF sun protection, BB’s offer skincare benefits. Moreover, BB Creams, which stands for Beauty or Blemish Balms, provide build-able coverage.
CC creams are color correcting creams. Therefore, what sells them is their ability to even out skin-tone. Moreover, they neutralize skin redness. Also, they have color adapting pigments in their formula that even out dull and sallow complexions.
So, What do Dynamic Do-it-all Creams have, that the BB and CC creams Don’t?
Originally known as Daily Defense Cream, it now is referred to as Dynamic do-it-all, or just do-it-all. Also, it is known as Disguise and Diminish.
In addition to the similarities Daily Defense creams have with their predecessors, they also have anti-aging benefits and added SPF.
Originally, Do-it-all creams were popular oversees. Above all, they were used to soothe dry areas such as elbows, knees and feet. Here, they are known for their anti-aging benefits.
These Do-it-all Creams are anti-aging-focused in order to diminish fine lines and wrinkles over time. Furthermore, the Do-it-all cream provides a sheer, buildable coverage. Another focus of DD creams is for defending skin from environmental aggressors, such as pollution. Ultimately, you will begin to see results when using disguise and defend creams daily. As a result you will achieve glowing, healthier skin results. And, these creams provide more coverage than their predecessors. This brings them closer to being a true foundation, with SPF and Skin Treatment ingredients.
The A,BB,CC, and DD creams are a new approach to base (foundation) makeup. The Do-it-all creams are going to be more of an anti-aging foundation. Also, the new hybrid promises skin treatment ingredients and more coverage. It remains to be seen whether the DD creams are riding on the success of predecessors BB and CC. Or, could it be a new, genuine evolution in the way we wear base makeup. Could there soon be an EE cream?
The Beauty alphabet products continue. Someday there may be an EE Cream! And then what?
