Why did Charlotte Tilbury change the formula on her Legendary Lashes mascara? On the one hand, for CT fans like myself, I really liked Legendary Lashes. Moreover, I didn’t have any problems with it. On the other hand, a lot of you didn’t have such good luck. The reason being, the the original formula didn’t work for you. However, some, like myself, loved the original Legendary Lashes Mascara., And it created an Instant Hollywood False Lash Effect, However, Charlotte’s fans wanted a mascara that had longer wear time. Also they wanted a formula that didn’t smudge, and would hold up to humidity. Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Volume 2 amps up the original formula.

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Volume 2 Packaging
The mascara is in a shiny gold tube. First of all, pictured on the tube are two eyes. They depict a traditional cat eye. And, the ink is the same as her signature burgundy packaging boxes. 
Moreover, the lashes on these eyes are long and voluminous.
And, the mascara wand is a Classic Wand. Interestingly, most women prefer the Classic wand to all other types of wands. 
It has thick bristles. Thick bristles give lashes incredible volume.
Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes Volume 2 Formula
The original formulation used a blend of nourishing oils and moisturizing conditioners. As a result, it created the glossiest, healthiest-looking lashes. However, CT fans needed a longer wearing formula. Furthermore,, they wanted a formula that didn’t smudge. Also, they didn’t want mascara flakes under their eyes. Last, they wanted a mascara that didn’t run when it was humid outside. As a result, the new Legendary Lashes Volume 2 reformulated version is long-wearing, smudge-proof, and resistant to humidity. 
Best of all, it instantly creates the look of “false” Hollywood Lashes. And, the new formula is easy to apply. The formula is a bit drier than its predecessor. However, it is still a wetter mascara than most others. Only one layer is needed. In addition, the application is smooth. Also important, it does not clump. My favorite quality is the intense , jet black color. And, it is a creamy, oil-based formula.

Tested on 103 women over a period of seven days:
After 1 application the thickness of their lashes increased 108%.
And, Lash Volume increased 507%.
Honestly, these percentages seem far-fetched and over the top!
Last But Not Least
Like I said, I love the intense jet-black color of this mascara. I never had a problem with the original. However, since many people did, I think now everyone will be happy with the new reformulated version. Just a little reminder, humidity-proof does not mean waterproof, nor water resistant. Therefore, on rainy days, or when you’re at the beach, I suggest you wear a waterproof mascara!
