Charlotte Tilbury Iconic Eyeshadow Palette

Charlotte Tilbury’s  inspiration for her New, Limited Edition Charlotte Tilbury Iconic Eyeshadow Palette were icons both past and present.  Moreover, her icons were rock stars, dancers, and supermodels.  Charlotte vacationed with these iconic men and women on the island of Ibiza in Spain. To explain, Ibiza is a wild, exciting island that has an incredible night life.  As a matter of fact, when I visited Ibiza, on my honeymoon, I spent as much time in the night clubs as I did lying on the beach. Hence, Charlotte describes her new, Iconic Palette as “an illuminated LED dance Floor.

In addition, the Iconic palette is easy to use.  The reason is Charlotte separates the twelve eyeshadows .  In doing so she creates four different looks.  Therefore, the shadows that create the looks are in vertical order.  There are four looks in the palette.  The looks create  day, date, diva and disco looks.  Although, you don’t have to stick with the four eyeshadow looks.  Additionally,  you can use the eyeshadows on your cheeks.  Also, you can swipe the shadows across your lips!

Charlotte Tilbury Iconic Eyeshadow Palette Packaging

First of all, I love that Charlotte pays Homage to the iconic David Bowie.  The packaging box cover, and the cover of the compact depict an early picture of Bowie as Ziggy Stardust.  To describe, the photo shows Bowie with a painted lightening bolt down his face.  Also, that picture focuses on his eyes.  In case you didn’t know, David had a green eye and a brown eye.  Moreover, the sleek palette has vibrant shades on the cover with lots of glitter.

Next, inside the palette has a full-sized mirror.

Above all, there is a plastic over the shadows that divide the eyes, vertically, into the four looks.  Also, the plastic sheet labels the primers, the enhancers, and the smoke shades.

To begin with, Charlottes Wet Touch Technology allows you to mix the shadows with water to create a silky-veil effect.  Also, the super-pigmented shadows create electric eye looks.  The shadows feel buttery, and have smooth textures.  As a result, the shades are easy to blend.  Furthermore, the shades are extremely buildable.  I felt the dry shades had very little fallout.

I love that Charlotte separates the twelve shades in order to create four looks.  Furthermore, the four looks are Day Eyes, Date Eyes, Diva Eyes and Disco Eyes.

Day Eyes Look

First, on top is the prime shade (1). The Day Eyes Prime Shade is a light white shade.  However, on me it looks like a light gold shimmer. Therefore, use the light white shade as an eyeshadow base, all over your eye lids, and up to the brow.

Next, Enhance is the middle shade (2). The Day Look’s Enhance is an amber honey shade.On me, the shade is a gorgeous warm peachy shade that has a shimmer finish.  I love this shade in the crease of your eye.  Also, it looks great under your lower lash line.  And, I like it on my eyelids.

Last, the bottom shade (3) is a smoke shade.  Smoke is a scarlet shade that has a creamy, matte finish.  However, the shade looks more like a warm red/brown shade.  Scarlett is a gorgeous color to wear as a liner on the upper and lower lash lines.  Also, wear it on the outer corners of your eyes.  Also, layer over shade (2) in your crease, and smoke it out.

Date Eyes Look

First, the Date Eyes Prime Shade, gold, is a gold shade that has a sparkling finish.  It looks more subtle on my eyelid than it does in the pan.  Again, I would wear gold as a base shade, all over my lids, and up to my brows.

Next, the Enhance shade, Antique, is a rose-gold shade with a satin finish.One, I love it in the crease.  Two, it looks great as a lower lash liner.  I also love Antique on the outer corners of the eye.  Also, I would wear antique all over my lids, and up to to and in the crease.

Last, the smoke shade, Gold Bronze is a bright, coppery gold-bronze shade with a satin finish.I like putting gold bronze in the center of my eyes to make them pop!

Diva Eyes Look

To begin with, Diva’s prime shade, champagne, is alight gold shade that has a sparkling finish.  I like to wear Champagne, as a base, all over my eyes.Also, champagne would look great as a highlighter, on the inner corners of your eyes, and on your brow bone.  Also, wear it on your cheekbones as a highlighter.

Second, the enhance shade, burnt gold, is a bronze-gold with a satin finish.  It looks beautiful on the eyelids as your lid color.

Last, the Smoke shade, rich auburn, is a reddish brown shade that has a creamy matte finish.  I love the rich auburn shade as a transition shade, in the  crease.  Also, I like it on the outer corners of the eyes, and then smoke it out.  I also like it as a liner for your lower lash lines.

Disco Eyes Look

First, the prime shade, green, is a bright green shade that has a sparkling finish.  I love green all over my eyelids.  Also, you can use green as a liner, on your upper or lower lash lines.

Next, the enhance shade, blue is a gorgeous cosmic blue that has a satin finish.  I love blue shadow.  Therefore, I will wear this shade all over my eyelids, and up into my crease.  Another way to wear the blue shade is in the outer corners of my eyes.  Also, I can see this shade on the outer half of my eyelids.  Furthermore, I love blue eyeliner.  So, I’d use it wet , and use it as an eyeliner, on upper, and/or lower lash lines.

Finally, the smoke shade , black, has a creamy matte finish.  I love wearing black eyeliner on my upper and lower lashlines.  I would wear it in my crease.  Although, I’d love it in the outer corners of my eyes.  Then, I would smoke the black out.

Charlotte Tilbury Iconic Eyeshadow Palette Last But Not Least……..

To begin with, I love the Iconic Palette.  First, the quality of the formula is amazing.  I love all of the shades in this palette.  I realize that non of the shades are original, however, I love the way Charlotte curated the four looks with these shades.  However, you can wear the shades any way, and anywhere you want!  You can use them on your cheeks, and lips too!  It is a fun palettes, so have fun making your own looks!
