Burberry launched a limited edition collection of the Burberry Full Kisses Lipstick for the festive season. There are two lipsticks in the limited edition holiday collection. First, shade No. 567 Deep Crimson is a new, limited edition color, created for this collection. Second is one of Burberry’s signature shades, No. 549 Oxblood. Burberry Full Kisses Lipstick is known as a bold, full-coverage lipstick. I purchased Oxblood because I was in the mood for a deep burgundy lip. that is reminiscent of a wintry holiday look. Each of the limited edition Full Kisses Lipsticks cost $30. If you would like to make a purchase click here.
Burberry Full Kisses Lipstick Packaging
The two full kisses lipsticks, Oxblood and Deep Crimson were chosen to represent the festive holiday season. With this in mind, Burberry created new packaging for the two festive shades. Hence, the packaging is reflective and mirrored in silver. (I’m thinking Silver Bells!)
To illustrate, the Lipstick tube is a slim, cylindrical, silver pen. Also, to apply the lipstick, the cap must come off of the pen to reveal the lipstick. The cap is easy to pull off. Furthermore, after you’ve applied the lipstick, the cap needs to be replaced on the pen. However, re-capping the lipstick is difficult. First, the lipstick doesn’t roll all of the way down. Therefore, while attempting to put the lid on the lipstick, it is easy to nick the lipstick with the cap.
Finally, although the tube is unique and chic, it is not effective. Apparently, ruining the lipstick is a huge problem. First, you lose the shape of the tip of the bullet. For this reason, the lipstick application is no longer effective. Also, you lose some of the actual lipstick. Because the lipstick costs more money than most, losing lipstick because of a faulty pen design is a crime.
Nevertheless, there are advantages to having lipstick in a pen applicator. First, a pen applicator gives you effortless , on the go application. Also, the pen makes it easier to apply your lipstick without having to use a mirror.
The Formula of Burberry Full Kisses
The formula is a triple active infused formula. First, it saturates the lips. As a result, it provides moisture which leaves your lips feeling hydrated. Next, the creamy formula creates more volume. Both lipsticks have a satin finish. Furthermore, both shades are highly pigmented. As a result, one swipe will give you bold, vivid, opaque color. Also, they have a creamy texture. Most important, your lipstick will glide on easily.
Applying Full Kisses Lipsticks
Again, the applicator pen is unique. In particular, the bullet is also unique. To illustrate, the bullet has a flat top. Consequently, the flat top enables you to amplify the volume and fullness of the fleshy part of your upper and lower lips. Specifically, then, the application of Full Kisses is unique. As a result, the lipstick is easily able to follow every curve of the mouth to contour and add definition. On the whole, the flat top of the lipstick gives lips a sculpted, more defined look. And, this occurs with only one stroke of the pen!
Shade No. 549 Oxblood
Again, Oxblood is a Burberry signature color. The shade is a deep burgundy with a satin finish. The finish is luminous without being too glossy. The Full Kisses Lipsticks are supposed to last eight hours. This was not the case with me. I had to reapply the lipstick after about three hours.
Sum
The Full Kisses Lipstick is a bold , full coverage lipstick. The unique flat-top bullet amplifies volume and makes your lips look full. The formula is creamy. I love the Oxblood shade. It is a vivid, and highly pigmented deep burgundy. The texture feels is smooth which allows the lipstick to glide on easily. The sleek retractable pen is chic and unique. Burberry needs to redesign the re-capping so that the lipstick is not ruined. On the whole, I like this lipstick a lot. Burberry does have 15 shades that range from soft hues to full, vibrant color. These Full Kisses Lipsticks are housed in a regular bullet. Click Here To See The 15 Permanent Shades. These shades also sell for $30.

I love this color! It’s a shame it only works with certain outfits, but when it works, it WORKS!
