Recently, I reviewed the Bobbi Brown Cobblestone Lane Eyeshadow Palette, neutral tones, with three finishes; matte , metallic, and shimmer. Also, the cardboard case brought the price of the palette way down. On the other hand, the new, limited edition, Luxe Precious Metals Eyeshadow Palette, is also eight shades. However, the shades come in one sparkling metallic foil finish. Even more, the shades come packaged in a heftier case, that has more razzle dazzle. Hence, the higher price tag. If you are into sparkle, this is the one for you.

Packaging
First, the packaging for the Bobbi Brown Holiday 2021 Collection is a nod to the magic and energy of New York City during the holidays. In fact, the boxes are supposed to be “ready to gift.” In other words, you don’t have to wrap the gift if you don’t want to. Just bow and go! 
Next, the plastic case is an eye catcher! It is shiny metallic gold, and the outer lid is a series of 3 dimensional rays from the top to the bottom of the lid. This makes the case shine even more! 
Inside, the case has a strong magnetic closure. On the inside of the outer lid is a full-sized mirror. On the other side of the palette are eight eyeshadow pans, in two rows of 4 foil eyeshadows. 
The case is stunning, a gift for your vanity!
Formula
The highly pigmented formula allows for amazing color payoff, and high impact color. The eight shadows feature a foiled finish. Also, the formula blends so easily, like the best blending you’d get from a powder, and the best blending you would get from a cream! And, all of this in 1 eyeshadow! You will get a weightless shine that has a smooth and creamy texture. It applies easily, an ultra thin layer of polished shine, with a smooth and creamy texture.
