Don’t you agree that nothing feels more annoying than when your lips feel dry and chapped? When my lips feel dry and uncomfortable, I keep licking them, and then they not only feel dry and chapped, they become red and sore. Recently, my lips were so uncomfortable to the point they were starting to drive me crazy. I was desperate to find something to soothe my lips, when I stumbled on what I consider ” a miracle” from Bite Beauty, a Canadian Company, where arctic winds and freezing temperatures are prevalent and can really do a number to your lips. The Bite Beauty brand ‘s ONLY focus is LIPS-so I figured that they must be the experts on lip problems .
I purchased Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask ($26) It is a soothing, leave on mask, that smooths, nourishes and hydrates your lips.
Bite Lip Mask comes in several shades. Smashed is a sheer candy apple red. Champagne is a rose gold pearl, and Maple, a reddish golden brown, is the third color. I purchased the clear, since I planned on wearing the mask to bed.
Their formula, hand crafted in Toronto, Canada, contains a bioactive blend of organic Agave Nectar, Jojoba oil, Vanilla CO2 extract, and triple the amount of the antioxidant Reservatrol, found in red wine. These ingredients are good enough to eat, and the formula has a sweet taste.
The texture of the mask is super thick, which feels amazing because second it is applied, it melts into our lips like butter. Once you put it on, your lips respond immediately. They feel comfortable and hydrated. They are already beginning to heal. I apply the mask before I go to bed, and sleep with it on my lips. If you need a real power boost of hydration you can wear it throughout the day. I prefer to hydrate and renew my lips with the mask. Applied overnight, your lips get extra TLC, and intense hydration. It is a bit pricey, but a little goes a long way.
During the day Bite Beauty suggests you use the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Balm ($18) which is compact, moisturizing, and simple to use. It also smells like vanilla – yum! It hydrates, repairs and restores the lips.
You cannot compare the two products, because the mask is more of an intense treatment that hydrates and renews the lips,
and the balm is for nourishing and protecting your lips in the day.
You Are Awesome!
