I wish we all could be California Girls! The surfing, sun-loving girls in California are beautiful. Could it be because their complexions are colored by the California Sun in gorgeous shades of sunny, golden pink? Well, Benefit Cosmetics has made it possible for the rest of us, since we all can’t live under the California sun , we can at least look like we do, with their newest Box O’ Blush, Benefit Cosmetics GALifornia Powder Blush ($29). 
The packaging of GALifornia Powder Blush is a Box O’ Powder, that will take it’s place besides Benefit’s other powder blushers, and bronzers in the collection. The artwork on the cover is circa 1970’s inspired by California surfer girls.
The powder is embossed with a gorgeous California Sun, a sunburst design, which is a bright pink shade that shimmers with gold. It also has a subtle scent, a mixture of grapefruit and vanilla, that you will smell in the powder, and as you apply it.
It comes with a bristled, curved brush that fits into the box o’ powder.
It makes the blush application easy as one, two, three, sweep!
It also has a mirror inside the box. The brush, mirror, and the small size of the box, make it travel worthy. Take this mirrored compact with you, everywhere, and you can easily apply it anywhere!
The golden spray on the pink sun disappears when your brush runs through it. This has no impact on the color, however, which will still be the perfect sunny, California Girl shade, which, by the way, looks amazing on any skin tone!
GALifornia is richly pigmented. It is smooth, soft and feels silky on the skin.
It is easy to apply and it is buildable. The texture is like a finely milled powder. It blends effortlessly.

I love the mix of pink and gold. The smell of the blush is amazing, The smell goes away the instant you sweep it on your face. It is beautiful for the spring and summer. And the good thing is No UVA/UVB rays to worry about!
