I love it when Becca, the glow brand, and Chrissy Teigen, the glow queen, collaborate on a collection. First, the collections remind me of endless summers, and bronzed glows. For example, some of the past collaborations have included Endless Summer Glow Gloss; Glow Baby Oil, Endless Summer Bronzed Glow, and Glo Palette. The Becca X Chrissy Glow Kitchen Kit is a new limited edition set created for the holiday season.
Interestingly, Supermodel Chrissy happens to be an amazing cook. In fact, she has written two cookbooks. Recently, Chrissy launched a new line of tablewear, and cooking tools for target. As a result, the new makeup kit’s inspiration is food. Specifically, the makeup kit’s theme is Chrissy’s holiday cravings. For instance, one of the products smells like cinnamon buns. Also, cinnamon suger describes her new glow loose powder. Finally, new matte lipstick tastes like vanilla.. Yummy!
Becca X Chrissy Glow Kitchen Kit Packaging
The Cravings Glow Kitchen Kit comes in a signed Chrissy Teigen “cook book.”
To begin with, the Glow Souffle Eyeshadow and Face Highlighter comes in a plastic jar with a screw on lid.
Also, the eye shadow jar is the highlighter’s screw-on lid.
The eye shadow has a lid that lifts up, and snaps down.
Once opened, the eye shadow has a mirror build into the underside of the lid. As a matter of fact, the eye shadow packaging is the same as Tom Ford’s Cream and Powder eye shadow. However, the same product from Tom Ford costs more than $60. Becca’s $44 dollar kit includes the eye shadow duo. That says it all!
Becca X Chrissy Glow Kitchen Kit Glow Souffle Eye Shadow and Face Highlighter Duo
To begin with, both the eye shadow, and the highlighter are in the shade cinnamon churro.
The eye shadow is a creamy powder with a sparkle finish. I’ve been applying the shadow with my finger. However, you can also use a synthetic shadow brush. It is super easy to apply. Also, the cinnamon sparkle is gorgeous! It brings light to your eyes. Even more, the eye shadow faintly smells like cinnamon buns.
Additionally, the Cinnamon Churro Glow Souffle Highlighter smells like Cinnamon Buns. As a result, I would like to go out and buy a dozen cinnamon buns right now!!!!!
Anywhooo, the formula feels soft, creamy and bouncy. It brings a soft, even radiance to the skin.
Furthermore, you can wear it as a highlighter, on the high points of your face. However, I have been using it as I would use the Tom Ford version. First, I put the highlighter on my eye lids as a base coat. Then I put the eye shadow on top of the shadow. It looks gorgeous this way too!
Becca X Chrissy Glow Kitchen Kit Confectionery Glow Powder In Cinnamon Sugar
First of all, the powder’s shade is gold bronze with a shimmering finish.
Also, it smells like cinnamon sugar. The loose powder formula is infused with Becca’s proprietary mineral pearl blend.
As a result, it creates a glistening glow.
In addition, you can dust this powder on the high points of your face, your decollete, your shoulders. And, you can dust yourself wherever you want to glow.
Becca X Chrissy Glow Kitchen Kit Lip Souffle In Red Velvet
First, Lip Souffle in Red Velvet is a liquid lipstick with a matte finish. It is a lightweight, whipped mousse. Also, it is infused with a taste of vanilla! Therefore, it tastes delicious!
Furthermore, the formula is long wearing. And, it has a velvety, soft finish. It looks like you’ve just been kissed.
Additionally, if you let it set for a few minutes, it will last all night.
Becca X Chrissy Glow Kitchen Kit Last But Not Least…………
First, I thought that the Cravings Glow Kitchen Kit would make a great gift.
However, when I realized that the kit has all brand new shades, well….. Of course I ended up gifting it to myself. (So what else is new?) And, I am glad I kept it. Mostly, I fell in love with the eye shadow duo. I love the warm glow it gave my eyes. Also, I loved the creamy formula. And, I was excited to use the highlighter as a lid shade. I know you will love this kit ! The only problem I have is the kit is supposed to be a limited edition. Hence, these shades may not be around too long!
What do you think about this kit? Would you be willing to gift it? Or, would you keep it for yourself? I’d love to know what you think in the comments below. Or, just stop by and say hi!
