I think it’s magic. First, the new Becca Hydra-Mist Set Refresh Powder goes on like a cool mist of water. Wait…It is not actually a cool mist of water. In fact, the New Hydra-Mist Set Refresh Powder is a soft and silky powder! Specifically, Hydra-Mist Set Refresh is a setting powder. In addition, it also has a revitalizing effect on the skin. Therefore, it not only is a setting powder, but it also refreshes both your skin and your makeup.
Becca Hydra-Mist Set Refresh Powder Packaging
The Hydra Mist Set & Refresh Powder is packaged in a clear, plastic jar.
As a result, you can see the powder through the jar. However, the visibility of the powder may not be such a good thing.
To illustrate, the powder fills approximately 3/4 of the jar.
So, the actual jar size is not the amount of powder you will get. (Just Say’in) Also, the jar’s lid is silver, with Becca written on it in gray.
First, when you take the silver lid off, you are at a plastic top with a sticker on it.
The sticker says “keep me closed, to keep me cool.”
Next, when you open the plastic lid, underneath it is a mesh top where the powder comes through from the jar.
Although, I warn you to be very careful the first time you open the plastic lid because there is already a lot of powder sitting on top of the mesh!
Most important, remember to close the plastic lid tightly, (wait for the click sound), when you are finished.
Becca Hydra-Mist Set Refresh Powder Formula
To begin with, fifty percent of the formula is water and glycerin. This creates the cooling, mist-like sensation that creates the comfortable and refreshing feeling. Next, ultra-fine, light-reflecting powders “float” over the skin to smooth and blur the look of fine lines and imperfections. Surprisingly, there are very few ingredients that create this magical formula.
At first I thought that the formula was new and innovative. However, I do recall a Mac bronzing powder I purchased a few summers ago that was basically the same idea. It felt cool, wet and refreshing when I applied it. In addition, the Mac bronzer was also a powder. Therefore, the only difference that I can recall is the Mac product was a bronzer, refreshing powder and the Becca Hydra-Myst Powder is a setting, refreshing powder.
Becca Hydra-Mist Set Refresh Powder Application
It is really easy to apply the setting powder.
First, with a Kabuki brush, swirl the brush into the powder, then tap of the excess powder. Next, using the brush, apply the powder, over your makeup, on your face, The result that it gives you is a flawless finished look. It will keep your makeup from disappearing from your face. Therefore, your makeup will last until you wash it off. In addition, when you want to refresh your skin throughout the day, you can reapply as needed.
Becca Hydra-Mist Set Refresh Powder Results
The results are amazing! I had a flawless looking face. Hence, beautifully set my foundation, creating a silky, smooth finished look. Also, it made my makeup last a lot longer than had I not used this setting powder. In addition, it was a cinch to apply. Also important, it is good for all skin types. However, my skin is super dry all the time. In particular, it is pure perfection for dry skin. Not only does it feel like you are spraying a mist of water on your skin, it does keep the skin feeling hydrated. And, there really is no wetness of a setting spray, because it really is a powder! I recommend this setting powder to set and refresh your makeup! You will love how it feels on your skin!
