I think we are all suffering from bad face days lately. It’s freezing cold, snowy, and gray outside! It’s the time of year when our skin looks fatigued, dull, dehydrated, puffy and full of fine lines. That’s a bad face day, and Becca has a new solution for that problem. It;s called Becca First Light Priming Filter ($38).
Yes, that’s it and it does look a little scary, being that it is a lilac shade and all, in that beautiful frosted glass bottle! Did you know that lilac is considered a brightening color for the skin?
Don’t be intimidated by the lilac shade that is the actual swatch from when it comes out of the bottle.
When you rub the lavender drop into the skin, it turns clear! See, I told you not to worry! What else to you see in the after picture on the right? I see a transformation, the dull skin on the hand (on the left) had now become a “lively”, brighter, fresher, and healthier looking. And there is a slight, subtle glow on the skin. The skin also appears smoother.
The First Light Priming Filter has a unique formula. It has light reflecting crystal in the ingredients that is what will keep the skin looking illuminated, and when it is combined with the sheer violet hue, the formula harnesses the power of cool light technology. Your skin will have a bright, fresh and healthy appearance. The formula also contains ingredients that will give your skin serious moisture.
Sodium Hyaloronate hydrates and plumps the skin. Prickly Pear Flower quenches and revives the skin. Crystal Technology and Spring water creates a pure, healthy glow. The more hydration your skin gets, the more it glows. Your complexion is instantly replenished. Use it under your foundation because it makes an amazing makeup base. It has a citrus scent. It feels great when you apply it. It feels smooth, like velvet on the skin. And I love the subtle glow that radiates on my face. And it only takes an instant to get rid of your “bad face day!”
You are Awesome!

I tried this primer on last week in Sephora and absolutely fell in love with it. It felt amazing on my skin and it covered up the dullness, but it just didn’t fit under my Becca Foundation in which I wanted a more matte look. But overall, this primer was absolutely amazing.
I am thrilled you love it! I love Becca’s Lighting products, I think my favorite are the blushes!!!!!
