If you want your face to have a youthful glow, RMS Beauty is a great brand to try. The ingredients alone make this brand highly desirable because not only are they cruelty free, their formulas only use ingredients that are raw food grade and all their anti aging ingredients are organic. This spring RMS launched 2 palettes, which is really exciting because they are the first RMS palettes ever. Each palette is curated with all of the RMS signature products, their most famous, including cult favorites, and best sellers. The palettes, Mod and Pop are considered the “perfect natural palettes” for all of us, girls on the go, who want to wear beautiful makeup that gives us a radiant, natural finish.
The compact case is ultra-thin. It is also surprisingly teeny tiny. However, it is packed with a big punch, five formulas fit into this smaller than usual case! It is perfect for travel, as it fits in any sized handbag. The only thing you will need to bring along is a mirror.
Pop is the more vibrant of the two, with a classic pink shade and a bronzer included. I purchased the Mod Palette. This palette is almost Retro, with a peachy coral, and a brownish, dusty rose. On the top is Living Luminizer on the right, and Mix Master on the left. Living Luminizer was the very first product I ever purchased from RMS Beauty, and remains a favorite for me, and most anyone else who has tried it, to such a great extent that it reached Cult status years ago. It leaves your skin with a gorgeous, sheer, and glowing luminosity. Master Mixer is also a highlighter, a rose-gold shade, that is more subtle and warm. Both can be used on your cheeks, bridge of nose, Cupid’s bow, and brow bone. You may also use either highlighter on your eye lids.
There are two Lip2Cheek formulas under each highlighter. Under Mix Master is Lip2Cheek in Smile. Smile is a coral pink that adds a warm, youthful flush of color to your cheeks, and lips. Underneath Living Luminizer is Lip2Cheek in Spell. Spell is a dusty brownish-rose shade. Not only would you wear this on your lips and cheeks, you can try it on your eyelids as well. I would use this as a contour shade. Underneath the Lip2Cheek formulas is the Cocoa Lip and Skin Balm. Use it on your lips to smooth, soften and give them maximum hydration. You can also use the balm as a face moisturizer, and on any area that feels dry, like your elbows! It can even be worn around the eye area.
It is amazing how they were able to get all five formulas, everything you’ll need to give your face a natural, radiant finish, in one small palette. It is the perfect size for travel and it is finger friendly. The only objections I have are the pans are a bit too small, although, you dab the products on with your fingers (and a little does go a long way), and it is mirrorless. For a palette that does everything, it is a little difficult to use without a mirror. Otherwise, I love the shades in the Mod Palette, and it is a great value because it really can do it all!
