Sunday Riley C.E.O. Protect and Repair Cream Powered by Vitamin C

Brand new from high-end, cult-favorite, skincare brand Sunday Riley – C.E.O. C and E Antioxidant Protect and Repair Moisturizer ($65) has launch just in time for the Siberian-like weather we are experiencing as I speak.  With temperatures outside below freezing, and dry, hot air inside, our faces are red, dry and cracking! ceo-sunda-riley-packaging-and-ceo-rich-vitaminc-cream

C.E.O. is so rich, it absorbs deeply into the skin,  giving us the hydration we need on these sub-zero, Arctic days.  It also promises to protect our winter skin, during the day, from the damaging effects of environmental and pollution exposure.

It claims to repair fine lines, as well as fix dull and uneven skin.  It can fight free-radicals with the powerful dose of antioxidants that are in the formula.  These antioxidants come from 2 Vitamin Superstars, Vitamin C and vitamin E.

The formula’s ingredients contains 5% of the Lipid Soluble Form of tetrahexldecyl ascorbate ( the best type of vitamin C ingredient there is).  Vitamin C “works best topically because it is in it’s most stable form”.  It is an antioxidant that neutralizes the free radicals that are aging our skin.   Vitamin C slows down the aging process. It also is necessary for the production of collagen.

Vitamin E,  the other potent antioxidant in the formula is thought to fight free radicals such as smoke, pollutants and the sun.  It also offers moisturizing benefits.

It feels very refreshing when I put it on, which has been frequently, since I received it a few days ago.  I happen to love the smell, which is a nice citrus smell that reminds me of the Honey Bell oranges I just received from Florida.  It has that orange juice citrus smell, the same one I get every time I cut into one of those delicious Honey Bells!  I happen to love the smell, but it does wear off quickly so it won’t interfere with your perfume.  The directions warn that the shelf life of C.E.O. is three months.  Since winter just started, it will probably not even last the three months!

The Pro tip on top of the ingredients says the cream works great under makeup, and keeps the skin hydrated throughout the day. Night is when the cream visibly repairs the skin.  Put it on after cleansing.  It is like getting two creams in one.  The day cream protects the skin from the environment, and the same cream, at night, repairs the skin while you are sleeping. I think that makes it an amazing choice for your winter skin!

You Are Awesome!
